There's a feeling of sleeping in the same bed as someone who murdered your mother. Honestly, I couldn't even sleep. So many thoughts running through my mind. Then what James told me is replaying in my head.

Slowly moving myself and getting up. Last thing I wanted to do is wake up Ryan.

Made my way to the kitchen and made myself some tea. I needed something to relax me. Took my phone out and noticed I had another message. He's the one guy I know who has the free time to text someone.

Cassie!. It's obvious Ryan has people watching you. So from now on do not come here or you'll get yourself caught. My lawyers might be able to get me out soon. Just please be careful and take care of London.

He actually thinks I'm naming her that. I rolled my eyes and put my phone back where it was.

"Why are you up?", I jumped almost slipping my hot tea.

"You scared me!. I couldn't sleep", he raised his brow and looked around me.

"Come back to bed", he motion his head to the room.

"I'll be there when I'm done drinking my tea", he looked at me and walked back into the room. I definitely have to plan my escape.

Or maybe I should just leave and not tell anyone where I am. I could leave this bullshit here and be on my own. Surviving isn't a problem with me. I think that sounds better than waiting for James to come out of jail and start his shit too.

"Are you coming back to bed?", didn't I just tell him after I drink this hot tea.

"Yes, but I still have tea to finish", he walked back into the room.

Maybe Marissa was right. It's time I get the fuck out of here for good. I got up and emptied out my cup and walked back into the room. I was feeling a little sleepy and felt Ryan's arm holding me close to him.

The next day, Ryan had some good news for me. Well it's not good news for him but it is for me.

"Cassie, listen I have to go out of town for a couple of days for business. I trust you to be here and behave", he stared at me.

"That sucks, I guess you got to work right?", he smiled and nodded.

He walked out with a duffle bag. Starting up the car he pulled out the drive way and drove off. I sighed in happiness. Waiting an hour just so he doesn't come back. I got my suitcase and started packing up everything. Even her baby clothes I packed up. Not all of it but the ones I would be using. In the meantime I'll buy more.

Made sure to take some money with me just so I can at least get somewhere to sleep. At this moment this is probably not the smartest thing to do since I'm about to give birth at any moment but something to give.

Packing my duffle bag in the car and took one last look at this god forsaken house.

I have no idea where I'm going but I'm trying to make sure it's far far away from those two. Before I forget I turned off my locations on my phone just in case they try to find me.

About two and half hour later I saw a sign that read Welcome to Eastchester. This drive was tiring so I had to stop here. This town was small and the people seemed nice. I could blend in nicely here.

I was so hungry so I stopped in the diner to get something to eat. And it was right next to a motel even better.

Using a alias name I signed into the motel. Last thing I want to do is leave a trail behind me.

Hopefully neither of them will find me. But knowing Ryan he'll be on a never ending mission to locate me.  In the morning I'll call Marissa from the motel phone letting her know I'm fine and in due time I'll let her know my whereabouts. It was just me and my baby now.

My phone lighting up brought me out of my inner thoughts and I saw it was Ryan. I didn't answer I just put the phone on silent and watched him call me three more times. This should be the time he will start to get suspicious.

Rubbing my belly I said "I'm so sorry that I got us into this mess. Wouldn't even believe the stuff that's happened".

It was getting late and sleep was over powering me. I turned off my phone before laying down and falling asleep.

First time in a long time I'll get to actually sleep without looking over my shoulder.

So I wasn't going to update until Saturday but the comments gave me life!. 🙌🏽🙌🏽😬
