*Seth POV*

It had been two days since anyone had seen Ro.

I didn't sleep. I didn't eat. All I did was look for her.

The pain I felt without her near me was totally fucking indescribable.

"Seth, we need to stop."

Leah could barely keep up with me. She was panting heavily and obviously worn. A small part of me was guilty that I drove her to near exhaustion- Leah was more active and athletic then any of the other wolves in the pack- but the bigger, overwhelming part of me couldn't rest. Not until I found her.

We can't stop.

"You're being crazy. We havent stopped in hours. Rosalice obviously isn't over this way."

You don't know that. She could be anywhere.

"Yeah, like on a ship on her way over to China, and we's still be looking in the middle of nowhere, Washington. Seriously, we haven't picked up on any of her scents in at least 6 hours, which means she wasn't here."

But this is where the sent was leading.

"I guess it was another dead end."

Another dead end. That's all this trip has been. One big dead fucking end.

Meanwhile, Ro was out there somewhere. Probably cold and hungry and frightened. She was only a little girl, despite being a hybrid with one of the most powerful supernatural beings in existance.

FUCK!

I let out a deep, anguished howl, feeling the urge to cry well up in my chest, but unable to shed the tears. I stopped dead in my tracks, and felt the overwhelming urge to lay down.

"Finally." Leah was panting, sticking her head in between her paws.

I failed her.

"Of course you didnt fail her. Don't you dare say that."

I lost her, Lee. She's gone. Ro is gone and I have no idea where she is. I can't even find my own imprint.

Leah didn't respond to me, she just cam over and nudged me with the tip of her snout.

"We'll find her. I know it. She's only a little girl and a lazy one at that. She wouldn't have gone far." Leah's voice was full of comfort and nurturing. Dispite my best effort to not allow myself to calm down until I found Ro, I felt some tension unwinding from me. My sister has always been able to anchor me whenever I was unable to anchor myself.

Alright. Lets rest for a few moments, and then head back. Maybe someone else has gotten a wiff of her.

Leah and I laid there for several long moments. I took the moment to observe the surroundings. We were so far from the Cullen's home. Was is possible for Ro to have wonder this far into the wilderness? The terrain was rough and hilly. The ground was rocky and slick from recent rain; the foliage made it hard to get a proper footing. The woods were dense and there was little sign of civilization. Leah had a point- Ro WAS only a little girl. No bigger then a 5 year old. Could she actually be out this far? Half vampire and all?

After I broke myself of my inner monologue, I turned toward Leah who nodded her lean head in understanding. We were back at it again. We stretched out our long, sore limbs ready to continue on our journey when the sound of cracking tree limbs and whoosing air stopped us. Leah looked at me with confusion etching her eyes before she suddenly snapped and darted toward a blur. Before even a heart could beat, Leah had a vampire on the ground, snarling with her heavy paws pinning each shoulder to the ground. Her long, sharp teeth were bared and close to his throat.
