My mother and father left that night. I don't remember much because I was too tired to pay attention, but I knew that I clung to my father for dear life. In the end, they had to pry me off as I wailed. Nessie was a good girl and put up no fuss going straight to sleep. My mother praised how good she was. She said nothing about me.
When I woke up the next morning, I found Seth sleeping on the floor right next to my crib. He had a pillow under his head and was curled under a blanket that was absurdly to small. He looked like an over grown kid.
I pulled my self up using the bars of my crib. I giggled at Seth and decided it was time for him to wake up.
Hey, can you hear me?
Seth wiggled but didn't open his eyes.
Seth. Wake up. Seeeth.
He groaned and stretched his blanket over his head.
SETH!!!!!!!
"I'm up! I'm up! Geez, can't a guy get some sleep around here?!" Seth shot up, scanning for the source of the voice. The only person he saw was Jacob, who was sound asleep on the couch. Emmett and Grandpa Carlisle were in the dinning room and everyone else was milling about. His eyebrows knit in confusion.
I giggled hysterically. Seth looked at me and realization dawned on him.
"It was you, huh Rosalice?"
Maybe. I guess we'll never know.
"Ha ha very funny. I'd like to see how you'd react to having someone screaming in your mind."
To bad we don't know anyone who has a gift like that.
"Ah you got me. Guess I'll have to get you back some other way." His face began evil thinking of the possibilities.
Whatever. I rolled my eyes and then spied this arm now in a sling and cast. Are you hurt?
"Oh this? This is nothing, really. Besides, I asked for it."
How?
"Let's just say next time your mommy and Jake get in a fight, I'm NOT helping."
"Well, I see that you guys are awake." Grandma Esme smiles kindly at us. "How are you feeling Seth?"
"Sore, but I'm alright."
"Leah's outside. She wants to see you."
"Right now?"
"Yeah. She said she wasn't waiting all day."
Seth looked at me with a disappointed face and then back at my grandmother. "I'll be back soon."
"Take your time, dear."
Seth scurried out of the house and Grandma bent down to pick me out of the crib. "Great timing sweetie. You're parent just arrived."
Where did they go?
"You'll see soon enough."
Grandma carried me to the dinning room, where my parent stood.
"You guys are done already? I was suspecting not to see you for at least half a decade." Uncle Emmett snorted.
"Oh shut up. We aren't all like you." My father shot back."We actually have children to think about."
My uncle rolled his eyes. "Suuure."
I yawned loudly, disrupting their playful argument. My Dad's eyes landed on me and he glided over, taking me out of my Grandma's hands.
