Everything was so dark. Not the type of darkness that fills the sky at night. No, this was absolute blackness. Like the space with no stars, or a place with zeros light. The scent of ash waived through me, and I felt something cold under my hands. Cold, like vampire skin.
"You really are special aren't you?" The voice marveled "Three gifts, and your half human! Oh, no wonder why they called you Miracle."
"They only know about my communication and dreams. No one, not even my father, knows about the third." The voice that answered, was one I did not recognize. I didn't have a voice, but I had a nagging feeling it was mine.
"So intriguing! So fascinating! And to think I thought your sister was so amazing. You are so much more amazing then she is, my dear." The man stroked my delicate skin. "It's just a same no one else sees it that way."
"Please Aro." I pleaded. "Please leave us in peace. No fighting. No death. We mean you no threat."
"There's one problem with your request." Aro sighed. "You see, things in life aren't for free, especially in our world. How will you pay me, sweet Rosalice?"
When I awoke, I couldn't help but let out a whimper. I blinked against the harsh morning sunlight outside that shined through our glass house. What just happened to me? It was just like back before, when I couldn't see. Why couldn't see just then? I blinked again, and looked around. Rosalie and Emmett were in the kitchen, talking as Rosalie fed Renesmee in her arms. I could see now, that much was evident. And who was that man Aro? His name alone sent chills down my spine.
I sat up, and wrapped my hands around the crib bars. I tried to forget what I just experienced. But out of everything Aro said, one thing stuck out the most.
You are so much more amazing then she is, my dear. It just a same no one else see's it that way.
"Hey! Miracle's awake!" Uncle Emmett was infornt of me in a blink and already picking me up out of my crib before I could even process it. My groggy brain was not in the mood to think. I just want to curl up in my father's arms.
I squirmed against him. Where's my daddy? I want my daddy.
"Before I answer that, I have something exciting to tell you." He smiled slyly at me. "Buuuuuut on the other hand, maybe I shouldn't tell you just yet."
What is it?
"Nahh, I shouldn't."
Uncle Emmett!
"Fine, fine you win. You mom woke up today."
I was to stunned to speak. I just stared at my uncle like he was talking crazy.
But my mother is sick. Renesmee told me so.
"Yes, but mom woke up faster than we expected. But it may be sometime before you can see her. See, your mom drinks blood, and with you an Nessie..."
Mom might eat us?
"That's what we are tyring to prevent, but yes."
I shuddered at the thought.
"Don't worry, she loves you both. You guys are her world. " Emmett walked over to where Renesmee sat on the floor, a toy in her hand, Rosalie hovering over her every move. It wasn't necessary, considering I was fine sitting up and Renesmee was much strong then me. Uncle Emmett sat me down next to her. Renesmee placed a hand on my cheek. She couldn't wait to see our mother.
