Eunji's pov"OPPA!"
"Hmm?" V hummed out,he was focusing on some variety show that was playing on the television.
I lifted my head up to speak properly, "Let's look at some old pictures. That sounds fun, right?"
OPPA always enjoyed talking and telling me about out past life; all the things we did together. Once they'd get started Oppa could go on for hours about past vacations, school and everyday life.
I rosed from my spot against Oppa shoulder and look at him. He had a joyful epression on his face, his eyes lit up. "Really? You wanna?" Oppa asked, taking my hand into his own. I couldn't help but let a small smile creep onto my face.
"Sure." He breathed out, watching and had already gotten up to get the box of pictures. I always hated getting my picture taken, it's even visible in the photos. But something about being able to peak into the past through the photographs made me happy that Oppa forced me into taking them.
Many of them were unsuspecting pictures of Oppa . Him standing in the kitchen cooking dinner, focusing on cutting vegettables. Him sitting on a beach, his feet burried deep into the hot sand. Him sleeping on the couch, passed out after a hard day of school . These were all my favorite photos. Hours would pass of him describing the backstories of each photo.
Oppa pulled out a picture of us in some park; the cherry blossoms in full bloom amongst the background. "This is one of the only moments in our family that you actually asked me to take a picture of us. The cherry blossoms were especially pretty that year. You said you wanted to remember it." Oppa told me.
I smiled, glad that my past self made that decision. I always enjoyed going to see the cherry blossoms every year, but they missed it this year for obvious reasons. Oppa told me that we would go next year.
We had gone through photos for about an hour, and the sun was beginning to set. Oppa was going back to collage tomorrow, so I was trying to make it a nice night for him. He was about to get up and begin to prepare dinner, but something caught his eyes.
"What's this?" He asked me , pointing to a picture laying ascrew on the floor.
"What? This?" I picked it up, handing it over to him .
He took it into his hands, and could barely comprehend what he was looking at. In the photo I was sitting at some bar, my shoulder's slumped and his elbows laying heavily on the wooden surface. It must have been autumn or winter, because he was wearing a jacket. What was surprising was not the scenery, or the setting, or even the season. What was surprising was the necklace I was wearing, because the last time he had seen that necklace it was many years ago.
"What's this?" He repeated, pointing at the article of clothing.
"What?" I questioned, "The airplane necklace? you used to wear it a bunch when you was little. You wore it for like a year straight, it was your favorite thing in the world. I'm not sure where it went though, I think you may have lost it."
Oppa was only mildy interested in the topic, keeping his eyes down on other memories more important to him. But those memories weren't important to me right now.
This was even after he had laid the picture down and gotten up, prepared a meal, ate the meal, and laid in bed with me to go to sleep; he couldn't stop thinking about the Airplane Necklace .
