Now a lot of time you imagine what you would do in certain situations. Like if you were to win the lottery, or save the day if a gunman entered your school, or perhaps if you were to get locked into a store! But how often do those things actually happen? Well I spend an excess amount of time thinking about these situations (It's why i'm flunking math) so of course i'm psyched to actually be stuck in here.
I skipped down the clothes aisle running my fingers over the different fabrics. I scanned over the different clothes through the dim light and plucked a t-shirt off the rack. It was my size so I flung it over my shoulder on top of black leggings. More lights flickered on above me because I had sent Romar to turn on more lights so we could see better. I then skipped over and grabbed some undergarments and then ran over to the changing rooms.
"Graham? Graham!------Where are you!?" I heard Romar yell from across the store as I slipped out of my rain soaked clothes.
"POLO!!!" I shouted back. After a moment he realized what I was doing and yelled again.
"MARCO!!!"
"POLO!!!"
"MARCO!!!"
"POLO!!!"
This went on for a few minutes as he followed the sound of my voice, each time getting closer to the changing rooms I was still in. By the time he was close I had switched clothes and was trying to figure out what to do with my hair.
"Up? down? bun perhaps? humph." I muttered as I played around with my hair tie. As I was attempting to fling my short frizzy mess back into a pony tail the flimsy cord broke with a snap. "Ugh, down it is then." I groaned. I stared at myself for another moment before swinging the door open and stepping out, scaring Romar half to death in the process.
"Ah!" He yelped as the door almost hit him.
"Oops." I muttered.
"Jeesh you scared me? Why were you even in ther-- what are you wearing?" He blurted pointing at my new outfit.
"Oh this?! It's cute isn't it?" I said, twirling around to show it off.
"You can't just-"
"Calm down i'll either pay for them or give them back when we get out of here." I told him, already prepared to what he would say. "Besides, haven't you ever wanted to go shopping and get whatever you want without thinking of prices?! This will probably be our only chance to let loose in a store!"
"But what if I don't want to let loose!?"
"EVERYONE wants to let loose!" I said with a smile. "Now, come on!" I said walking away. He scrambled after me as I walked quickly through the aisles.
"We should just wait at the front until the storm passes and we can leave." He said. "Or call the police!"
"Nope!" I said to him. "We are going to take this opportunity and make the most of it! Im talking the best game of hide and seek ever, waterslide through the isle, Hunt, and all the whipped cream you could imagine!!" With every option his face got whiter and his mouth was slightly hanging open.
"No way!!" He disagreed. "We can't. My boss would kill me!!"
"Come on, let loose!" I said as I shoulder bumped with him. "This is happening with, or without you! I just think we'd have more fun together."
"You've really thought about this, huh?" He asked crossing his arms and pouting his lip. I nodded my head yes and smiled. "Well have fun I guess. But don't come crying to me when you get in trouble. I'm out." He then turned and walked towards the front of the store, leaving me behind to think of a plan.
"Don't call the police, dude! Our county doesn't have enough resources for a search and rescue operation!!" I shouted after him.
'He just needs a little fun!' I thought. 'He needs to be a part of this night, I have to get him involved.'I grinned in anticipation and turned to run to House section, grains of a plan starting to form.
'Lets get this party started!'
