"Yeah I do need to talk to you, I need to know you wont hate me for what I say and I hope it doesn't upset you" I started. "Yeah sure whatever" Adam replied. "I saw Tommy the other night, I had to get out, to clear my head" I told him. He nodded his head "I'm worried about you Adam I thought we could get through everything, ever since Leila passed away you've been a different person. You're not the man I married, I want that man back. You've been on a downward spiral, I know deep down I love you so so much. But we can't carry on this way, I feel as though our marriage is over.  You scared me so much when I came home and found you unconscious, its something I thought I would never see. You have no idea how much I want to be there for you, but I don't think I'm strong enough to support you." I finished. Adam was speechless, he just stared at me. I expected him to be a bit upset but this was something else. "Adam say something.." I said.

He turned his head towards me, his eyes meeting mine "what do you want me to say?" he asked. "Something, anything.." I replied. "Fine, something, anything" he said a smile spreading across his face. "I'm being serious" I said trying not to laugh. "Seriously, I didn't know you felt that way. We are stronger than you think, and I know we can get through this together. I am truly sorry if I scared you, I didn't mean to. I love you more than you can ever know, I know you are the perfect person to be with me. You're a strong woman, and together we can take on the world and win." Adam told me taking my hands in his.

I felt as though a weight had been lifted from my shoulders, I was glad I had spoken to him. As I held his hand in mine my eyes met his, I knew deep down we can get through it all. My mind was much clearer now, I hoped his was too. "So did you get an appointment at the doctors?"  I asked as he laid out on the chair next to me. "Yeah I did actually, it's at 4 tonight" Adam replied. I looked at my phone, "4? that's like in 10 minutes!" I said. "Ah dammit" Adam said jumping up. "Are you coming?" Adam asked me. "Do you want me to?" I asked. "Of course I do" he told me. I got off the chair and grabbed Paisley, we headed out the door.

"Well here we are" Adam said. "Indeed we are that was some crazy driving right there" I said tidying my hair. We went in Adam's convertible and now I looked like a cockatoo, somehow his still looked perfect. I stepped out the car, my hair blowing gently in the breeze. I put on my raybans as my heels clicked on the floor. Adam stepped out the drivers side, his hair perfect as his heeled boots clacked on the floor. People looked round and stared, I got Paisley out. She was dressed in a red polka dot dress with a poofy skirt. I heard someone wolf whistle at me as me cheeks flushed pink. Adam pulled down his glasses and looked over the top, he gave the man major evils. "Wow Lola you look hot!" Adam said. "Why thank you" I said smiling. He was getting back to his old self, we linked arms and headed into the doctors.

We sat in the waiting room as a doctor called him in. He took my hand as I followed him inside, I sat Paisley on my lap and listened as the doctor asked what had brought him here. He explained everything and said how Marcel thought he had depression, "It certainly sounds that way" the doctor said. "I think it is only mild though, I will prescribe you some anti-depressants" he said writing out a prescription. "Take one everyday for 4 weeks, it should help ease your symptoms" he said handing Adam the prescription. "Thanks" Adam said getting up to leave. "Yeah thanks so much" I said heading towards the door.

We drove to a pharmacy, Adam headed inside while I waited in the car. I heard screaming and shouting from outside, I looked out the window and saw a man and woman arguing. I shook my head, some people these days. Adam wandered out the pharmacy carrying a bag, he slid into the drivers side and handed me the bag. "Did you get them?" I asked. "Sure did they are in there" he replied reversing out the car park. As we pulled into the driveway I looked round at Paisley, she was sleeping. I carefully took her out, Adam unlocked the door as I headed upstairs to put Paisley to bed..
