Adams Point Of View:

I couldn't sleep last night I was worrying about the boat trip today. I hate boats with a passion, I don't know why I just know I don't like them. I watched as Lola chased Paisley around the room trying to dress her, she came crawling over as Lola ran headlong into me. She didn't hurt me so I wasn't too bothered, I picked up Paisley as Lola pulled on Paisleys leggings. We headed out the door and towards the marina, it was a silent ride. I dint want to go but I knew it would be good for Paisley. We pulled into the car park, the water sparkled but I couldn't get into it. We picked up the keys and walked down the pathway, Lola stepped onto the pontoon as I hung back. My hands had started to shake, Lola took my hand and led me across the pontoon towards the boat.

I slid on the ugly orange jacket and started the engine, the boat roared to life. "what way are we going?" I asked, Lola said anyway I liked. I wanted to get off the boat not take it up the river, I steered the boat up the river. Lola was playing with Paisley I think they were feeding ducks. I started to feel hot and my stomach lurched. I tried to swallow but it was like something was stuck in my throat, Lola came over and told me I looked pale. I couldn't hold it in any longer, I ran to the side of the boat and threw up my breakfast. I felt the boat stop as Lola rubbed my back, I stood up and wiped my mouth. The taste was horrible, I took a drink of water as Lola took my hand and led me onto the grass bank next to the boat. I didn't feel much better as I flopped down on the bank and looked up at the sky.

We stayed on the bank for well over an hour, I saw Lola look at her phone. I knew Lydia and Tommy were dropping Jacob off at about 3, it was half 1. We climbed back onto the boat, Lola drove this time. I felt the boat jolt forward as she sped up the river, water splashing up the bank. I found myself clinging to the side of the boat, my hair flying up and the all too familiar feeling of nausea welling up inside. Suddenly the boat slowed down as I loosened my grip, "sorry babe" Lola said. I swallowed and replied "yeah sure just slow it down a bit yeah?" I felt as though all the air had been knocked out of me. As we pulled into the marina I handed Paisley to Lola. I stood up as pain shot through my head, like id just walked into a brick wall.

Lola handed back the keys as I made my way up the path, I decided it would be best if Lola drove home. The ride was silent, I felt like complete crap I don't know what's wrong with me. Lola pulled into our driveway, I climbed out and unlocked the door. Lola took Paisley out and walked into the lounge, I went upstairs and pulled off my boots. As I stood back up the room started spinning, I blinked as I headed towards the stairs. I grabbed the banister and made my way downstairs, I walked into the longue and sat down next to Lola. I closed my eyes for a minute to try and stop the spinning, when I opened them it had gotten worse. Lola looked at me her face full of worry, "are you ok?" she asked. I found myself shaking my head, I told her I had a headache and the room was spinning. She pulled me onto her lap laying me down and stroked my hair. I felt my eyes close as Lola traced my hairline.
