Werewolf Lover

By Penny Gibson aka written by Sheryl Wine

Love is a portrait of you

A soft delicate white cotton

It is gentle as the morning dew

That leaves every touch of you not forgotten

A long last prophetic dream in a beautiful nightmare

REM sleep is seen to be lovelorn in werewolf song

You are currents of a calm stream

Still as dangerous strong winds and large waves of Cape Horn

Your language speaks as Shakespeare's Othello

Your voice the sound of a string of a cello

Your intentions are like an owl during twilight hours

I am spellbound in your paranormal powers

Your head royal as a tree crown

You stand out as prince in this freak masquerade ball

In this rumba of dance, I am drowning

Each beat of my heart I fall in a trance

I am created a beautiful butterfly

In the search for the sweetness of your rose

This all could be a hallucination

We are diamonds in this imaginary sky

Dancing alone in this dimension

Yet in truth, I viewed it with such aplomb
