Chapter 7 "Wild Flower"

The morning dew settles like rain on green grass as I rush through my house. My stomach rumble with cramps as tying knots. This was the day I would meet Jave at his home. My hand shook as I combed my hair in the mirror. Could this be another fail risk of love I encountered once again? Jave was not one of the high school boys that graduated with me last year who was enjoying kegs of beer every weekend at his fraternity's house.

Jave was a licensed doctor at the clinic on campus who counsel students and observe others trying to become licensed therapist. My voice was shaky as I hum to myself to control my anxiety.

This courtship is as precious as a gold ring on a wedding day if this advance to more than a simple crush. I still felt like that high school girl not experience enough with sex and guys to be involved with such a mature gentleman. Now I was attempting to talk to a college psychologist but he was the youngest on his staff. I am not sure how old he is.

I took my stone around my neck to grab a silver love amulet off my dresser. I sprayed my baby powder and black cherry scent called Tickle Me, as taught to me by my mother with a mixture of oils. It hid the aroma from others who practice, and you fit in with everyone just well simply thinking it is just another department store brand. At least people in this place of nowhere buy mom's little homemade perfumes. No there is no magic in it at all but the mixture I included in this fragrance for various occasions. It was true that the amber oil bought love to many women and today I need all the help I could get with black cherries and the baby scent.

I was taught that love spells are the most dangerous since many can leave the person obsessive when your feeling has changed. I stared at my great grandmother book of shadow as I turn toward the mirror to look at myself. It might be foolish of me to let fate take place but this is what I will do. So no mixture. I will be like any other female.

I must know without a shadow of a doubt that Jave is interested in me. That the chemistry between both of us are neutral. Was I not mature enough to handle such a guy?

The phone rung repeatedly as I rush not falling over both of my feet down the stairs. The caller ID on my cell phone said it was my mother. It was nothing out of the norm for her to call me before our long day begin. She worked at her own esthetic salon where she makeup faces of women for different occasions. It helps her to sell all pure ingredient mineral makeup she made right here at home and a few artisan crafts. Today I will finally try some for myself since I'm all out of my MAC.

" Penny?" my mother questioned in her fresh morning voice.

" Yes mom it's me." my voice crack as I tried to catch my breath.

"What are you doing today before I go out of town?" my mother questioned me again for the second time.

" I am meeting a friend." as I took one deep breath again.

It was a secret about what friend. My mother was never fond of a man being two or more years older than me. In fact, she was not fond of any dude trying to hit me. She said that men are all great actors in disguise. They think with their second head than the one God put on his shoulder. She also felt that the man and woman should be equally yoked in every way. I should marry someone like MacGregor who belonged to a coven. That simply means the same age as each other too. That just a year older throw out a balance in the spirit world and the plane we belong to on the earth realm.

Due to society in her time, she left the one man she truly loved more than my father. Joan is a very big bully and mother was the perfect pushover. Now he is married to another woman who he has chosen to run the coven. Missing an opportunity of a lifetime in my life would never happen to me if she could control it. Somehow afterlife mom has grown a very hard backbone on life itself and me.

" I will be back later today, honey." mother replied as I reached for my car keys that hung on the wall.

"Bye, mom." I press the red button on my cell to hang up the call. Cherry Blossom
