Chapter 6 "Tulips"

Tonight is not that good for casting spells. I will not stop at anything to open my great grandmother book of shadows for a sleeping love spell. It was a way to get into a man mind and reach his heart while he is in slumber. Sometimes it hard to reach someone in waking life but though the subconscious where the brain workout problems you can give a solution. It was more exciting to reach his unconscious to find those thoughts and feeling. The one answer is he really into me like I am of him?

I wanted to reach Jave's heart. Maybe it is just like a high school crush but nevertheless, I want him. I cannot explain why I grew so deep in wanting him. I only saw him two times. Jave's eyes could memorize any female in letting him be the one for her for life. My fellow sister and best friend in the coven are coming with a few things like roses, thyme, and a cinnamon root.

"Hello!" Stormy shouted walking to my apartment holding a bag with her hand.

"Did you lock the door?" I questioned as I made an alter down on the floor.

We were casting a circle with two witches. I had the need for someone here when I go into my sleep to wake me up after several minutes. Stormy had been trying to escape the dorm of college since she could never focus on her assignment because of her wild roommate. It also made it hard for her to practice without being asked a ton of questions.

" The only reason I agree to this was that your love spell on Jerry worked at the café," Stormy started placing the candles in four cardinal points.

I lighted a little sage in the cauldron to cleanse the circle while Stormy sat waiting.

" I ask the Goddess to slumber tonight with Jave calling upon all those four corners of the world." as I sat in the circle on the floor.

" We call all the rulers of east, west, north, and south to join my sister on her journey for love." Stormy brush her braids out of her face.

The candles began to flicker and the roses floated from the middle of the circle. Stormy drunk the wine and pass the chalice to me to drink as grandmother spell required.

" My lips are like wine, my heart longs for everlasting trust, tonight in your arms Jave I will visit you at rest." I lifted the chalice to the sky.

It was nothing like I ever experience. I could look down from the stars as thou I had wings. It was clear I was in my own slumber. I was not sure how to step shining among the stars and moon.

I closed my eyes and repeated over and over that I am sleeping. I have the power to walk from the stars. I look from the tall trees to see a beautiful home. The lake behind me seen so pleasant and almost like a fairytale.

It was nothing like I pictured. I continue to the ground in the front of his home where the door opens up for me. My body shivered and a little stiffen by fright.

I was in Jave home though magic and I never tried anything like this ever before. I notice all the pictures of different people. I wonder was it all a lie. It was only one thing to do was to go up the stairs to find him.

"Show me the way of my love," I whispered in the dark home.

It felt like floating on air. All I could do was smile. It was the first time I ever used my great grandmother book of shadows. The door made a soft squeaking sound as it open and I could see my own breath as thou it was freezing. It was not cold at all. There he lied alone in a large bed covered up. I pull the cover down to reveal his chest. I laid comfortably snuggling behind him in his black satin pajamas.
