"Okay people, it's past three, so everyone either find a place to sleep or start walking home. My party is officially over," Bryan slurred into the microphone. In response people booed and hollered. Annoyed out of my mind with them, I grabbed the mic.

"Hey, either sleep or get the fu--" I started before Anna grabbed the microphone out of my hand, giving me her 'what do you think you are doing' face. Of course, that made a ripple of laughter surge through the crowd of our drunken peers. I smirked at her when her face began to heat up at their reactions. She quickly turned on them.

"You heard him move!" Anna yelled, causing everyone to rapidly disperse. Like I had told her earlier, she is really sexy when she does stuff like that. She turned to me victorious and patted my cheek. "That's how it's done, E," she patronized. After our talk, she has stopped calling me a pain in the ass, but of course she can't think, yet of a new nickname, so she decided to stick with the one she started when we were still in elementary school.

"I'll make of a note of that. No, cursing just yelling," I teased, wrapping my arms around her tiny waist. "So, love," I whispered into her ear watching her shiver at our sudden closeness, "Where will we be sleeping tonight?" Her shocked eyes meet mine.

"Oh no, no, no, no, no. Not happening," she rambled pushing out of my arms. "I'm sleeping somewhere and you're sleeping somewhere else. You got that. Mr. Handsy, Love saying--" she mumbled the last part getting worked up. It was adorable.

"Mr. Handsy Love saying, what?" I asked, egging her on because her and I both know where she was planning on taking that.

"Urg, pain in the ass!" She exclaimed.

"But, A, I was just going to suggest we cuddle," I said innocently. "I mean, what kind of man do you think I am we only just became a thing."

"Yeah, yeah. Right. I know what kind of boy you are and cuddle, my Aunt Petunia," she huffed, crossing her arms firmly.

I laughed and nudged her. "Anna, scouts honor nothing more, nothing less," I winked, saluting.

That got me a small giggle from her. I took my chance gently grabbing her arm, until her hand was free. I intertwined our fingers and pulled her with me to the closest guest room.

When we reached the door, I pushed it open right in time to see Celsey laying on the bed with some indie rock looking kid. "Who the hell is this?"

"Um, hey guys this is--" Celsey started shocked by Anna and my barging in.

"Daniel," Anna squealed from behind me.

"You know this tool?" I questioned.

"Hey, Anna," the scum waves from next to Celsey.

I look at Anna with a 'what the hell' face, but she just smiles up at me and says, "Yeah, he's in my Economics class." Then she looks back at the Celsey and Tool sitting on the bed, "Sorry, for this," she tells them motioning between me, her, and the door behind us. What is she talking about sorry?

"Party is over, so either walk home or find a place to sleep," I informed them. Well, mostly just the Daniel. Celsey and Anna both looked pissed at my words, but Daniel looked a little scared. Well, would you look at that I'm right he is a tool.

"Okay then, we're just going to go find a room," Anna insisted, grabbing my arm and pushing me out the room, but not before I screamed, "Hurt her and you're dead!" With the way he was acting towards me in there that should be enough to keep him in check.

It took a little bit of a search, but we finally found a room to sleep in. When we got inside, I noticed Anna was ignoring me. She walked straight over to the bed threw a pillow on the ground and crawled under the covers with her back to me.

"What's wrong?" I asked cautiously.

"Nothing. Good night," she grumbled.

I groaned. "Anna, tell me what I did, please?"

She shook her head and sighed. "You know." Perfect. A guessing game because I'm so great at those.

I bent down, so I was close to her. "Anna, remember this is my first real relationship. I'm new to this, please, go easy on me. What did I do?" I asked her again, calmly.

She looked over at me with disappointment and said, "You honestly don't know, do you?" I shook my head. She sat up and asked, "Have you ever seen Celsey with a boy other than you, Emmet, or Bryan?" Now, that I think about it no. She has always hung out with us, but never another guy. I would have remembered, for I would have had to pay for a new paint job after running him over a few times with my car.

"No," I confess.

"Did you happen to see the look on her face, before you screamed?" Not really I was too focused on the fact that a guy was touching Celsey. "Well, let me tell you. She was looking at him the way I looked at you only a few hours ago. She was happy and then you came bull-dozing in and ruined it in a matter of seconds. You were selfish and ruined her moment."

She's mad at what I did in the room? "But I was trying to protect her," I reasoned.

"Did she really look like she was about to be molested?" She questioned, raising her eyebrow.

"Well, no, not really, but it's my job as her friend to put the fear of God into whoever she dates," I protested.

"Yes, but how about you wait until they're dating," she suggested, "and maybe give her one night or here's a thought, leave the freaking out to her brother. I mean, you of all people should know how he acts." She was right her brother spent months giving me the stink eye and sizing me up everytime I entered the her house when we all got into our freshmen year of high school. I guess, that was also about the time my reputation began to really take off.

"Ugh, I hate being in the wrong," I groaned, listening to her words.

"How about you go tell her you're sorry?" She nudged. "I'll be waiting right here when you get back," added she winked. I moaned.

"How about in the morning?" I said not wanting to apologize at all.

"Ethan, grow a pair and apologize to your friend!"

"Fine, but when I get back, I'm sleeping in the bed next to you, and no complaints," I smirked, while she huffed, grabbing the pillow off the ground, and placing it next to her. "I'll be right back," I said, slipping out of the room.
