He confronted her today. He just needed to know why she was doing this. Had he done something wrong? He just wanted her answer and nothing more. As he began asking questions she tried to dodge them and get away from him like she was repulsed by him. At this thought, it wounded him even more than her staying away from him.
But, he was persistent and he finally got an answer out of her, well an answer but a question at the same time and it confused him. "Am I a charity case to you?" This was her question, she had so much pain on her face as if she believed what she had said. He got the answer he wanted as to why she was avoiding him, but this also caused many more questions to appear in his mind. He began answering in fear that she would leave, saying that there was no way she was a charity case and where she got that idea he had no clue. She then lowered her head in shame and fear but he pulled her chin up, looked her in the eyes and said from his heart, "You will never be a charity case to me, you mean too much to me for that to happen" and then he kissed her, just as he wanted to for so long.
