He now sings to her, plays to her, hoping that she will hear him. That it will all be ok. Then she sings. His heart begins to speed up at the sound of her voice. It is haunting him because she sings of finding love and keeping it for a lifetime. Her songs become a drug to him, he just has to hear more. But then she stops, her voice slowly floats away into the air as if she was never there. Her voice so quiet he closes his eyes just to listen.
She then emerges in his head. They both see each other but he will never know that she sees more than just him. He believes that she is faithful, that she stays true to him because he doesn't want to open his eyes to the reality of it all that his world is just as broken.
