Sitting down not wanting her emotions to escape he came up to her. Just as he reached her a lone tear slipped out. Not wanting him to see her as broken as she is, she wiped at her face furiously trying to get fixed the broken pieces of her soul. She was mainly surprised as well. Why? Why now? These questions were on repeat in her head, going around and around in circles.
He tried to start a conversation with her. But she was looking for her. Where was she? They were always together, never apart. A hand waved in front of her bringing her back to reality, she shook her head trying to clear her mind of the thoughts that should not be there. They should never be there anymore. She smiled a little when she realised that he was still there, he was the one trying to gain her attention. Her smile dropped. He shouldn't be there, he should be with her. He tried to continue the conversation by saying that he enjoyed her performance. This caused her to blush and smile a little, but still the nagging little voice in her head states, why would he listen to you when he has her. But instead on the outside she was humble and stunned, hiding her true questions as always. She then continued the conversation, with a smile and some laughter. But just before he left he asked her a question, "You're broken aren't you?" and she was left speechless. He saw through her.
