Any first kiss isn't really as sweet and smooth as stated in books, yes it is memorable, definitely memorable. Mostly sweet, after all, it is either someone's first ever kiss or the first kiss in the relationship. Which means it is unpredicted and pretty sloppy mainly, but some can be magical. Although it isn't her first kiss, with him it is their first. Chapped lips and all she loved it. It didn't matter how spontaneous it was to her or to him really, it proved her feelings weren't unrequited. Just the thought of that gave her goosebumps.
As the kiss came to a close and they moved away from each other, no he didn't put his forehead against hers, they simply parted and looked at each other in a new light. She didn't know what to say and neither did her but it was their eyes that told the real story. A minute or possibly two passed before a word was said, if anyone had passed they would have looked like two complete idiots, together. That is what she wanted. So taking the first spontaneous step in her life she asked him, "Go out with me?" and this time it wasn't her who was left speechless.
