• Noticing The Belly

Chapter 8

(Mia's P.O.V)

I ruffled my minty green colored towel over my head, drying out the excess water that was dripping from just washing my hair.

Liam sat on the bed entangled in the duvet surfing through the channels on the tv looking for something to watch but all that seemed to be playing were late night shows. I dropped the towel that draped on my body and slipped on a pair of underwear and threw on a tanktop. I turned around to find Liam's eyes raking my body.

"What are you looking at?" I jokingly question as i fold my towel and set it on the side.

"I was looking at my fiancé's beautiful bod- Oh my god Mia..."

"What?" I asked freezing in place, my first thought is that there was a giant bug around me and if i moved it would bite my toe off.

He scrambled off the bed and made his was to me lifting my shirt.

"Baby what are yo-" i tried to ask but silenced myself when i felt his warm hand come in contact with my belly. His hand glided up and down before he looked at me.

"You can see the bump."

I looked down feeling around for myself and he was right, i had a clear view of the lump that was growing, curving my belly outward. I smiled widely and watched Liam retrieve his phone. He knelt down and snapped a few pictures before sending them to a group of people on his phone.

"i can't wait for it to grow more" he said still stroking his hand over my belly.

"Me too." I say admiring his face. He looks so happy about the whole pregnancy, i actually feel like we are a family. A little family, but it's a work in progress.
