•Shopping for the Baby

Chapter 18

The days have been proceeding to warm up, spring slowly sidling in. For once, in many, many months the grass is finally able to be seen outside and the backyard and front yard are in better shape than I realised when we first moved in. We can easily have cook outs on the cobble stoned patio and even have a swing set or jungle gym set up farther back. In the front yard, simple landscaping could be done to lift up the houses curb appeal.

"Ready to go Mia?" Liam calls as he walks into our bedroom. I bring the brush through my hair once more before setting it down and turning around.

"Do I look okay for a pregnant, tired, and cranky lady?" He laughs as he walks over to towards me. His hands gently cup my face and plant a kiss on my nose.

"you look beautiful," he reassures me.

I look down at my pastel pink and white stripped, knee-legnthed, short-sleeved, dress and white vans. I tried to assesories as much as possible but if i had started to get wild with it i would waste the small energy I have into my appearance.

"Let's go on then, shall we." I sigh grabbing my purse, phone and keys from the bed.

Liam parks reletively close to the Baby's R Us enterance to save me the walk. I thank him for opening the car door for him and thankfully I get my hands on a stray cart in the parking lot.

"Oh no you don't," Liam intervenes, sliding my fingers off of the cart and wrapping his around the metal bar.

"Li," I call with a frown, slowly coming to a halt in the middle of the parking lot. He turns his head back to look at me and stops when he sees that i'm behind.

"Babe I don't want you pushing heavy things."

"We're only getting little things, and it's something for me to rest my weight on," I say a little more hastily, already feeling the belly pull me down, rising the fatigue in my body. I rub circles at the bottom of my belly hoping he would change positions and it would be lighter on me.

Thankfully he notices and let's me grab ahold of the cart. Once inside we collect a little bit of everything as our imaginations ran wild. Everything from bottles to binkies to diapers, socks, onsies, strollers, car seats, and even purchase a stool seat that I can feed him in.

By the time we exited the store I was giddy, flooding with excitement about our baby boys arrival being only three months away. I'm sure Liam was excited too, he was just concentrating on holding up a stroller, and stool-seat, plus the rest of our purchases as he insisted on holding them all.

I chuckled at him, leaning over and freeing his bulging hands from a few bags with mere room decorations and bottles.

"Mia-no." He struggles to say as we reach the car.

"Liam, I'm a pregnant lady, not an elder." I laugh at him as he brings the heavy items down with a loud thud. He rolls his eyes at me taking the bags from my grip and settling them in the trunk of our car.

"You keep playing around like that and your going to get hurt one day,"

This time it's my turn to roll my eyes at him. I pull him by the waist into me for a hug, nuzzling my face into his neck for a moment before raising it and taking a deep inhale of the fresh smell of spring. Wet, rich dirt, dew drops on plants, bright blue sky and the clear, refreshing air with a steady pace of comforting wind.

"I love you Li."

"I love you Mia," he responds rubbing his hand soothingly up and down my somewhat sore back.

"Don't worry about me so much," i mumble when my eyes lock with his.

"Impossible," he says before pressing a soft kiss against my lips.

Sorry for the typos this was a quick update from my phone.

Okay so this might be very unprofessional of me but i'm not the only one who goes through this so, who cares but...

I'm thinking of doing a Zayn pregnancy series. But theres also the Niall series. I'm having trouble making the final decision. Right now i'm leaning more towards the Zayn one but you guys should comment below with your opinion, your comments will guide my decision but I'll be making the final decision.

So, 3 comments at the least and I'll update the next chapter???
