Chapter 21.

-Mia Payne-

Our laughs echo through the living room, Liam and I sat on one couch and Zayn along with Perrie sitting diagonally from us on a smaller couch. The day had started out light as Perrie and I went for a small pampering day, . I guess it was just a nicer way of telling me i had some catching up to do on my physical appearance.

Our nails and toes were completely done, back massages and sliced cucumbers for our eyes on the house as a complimentary gift. I took the opportunity to trim my hair and add something new to the bland brown hair with an ombre hairdo. She insisted on not ending the fun their and we headed home to cook our self a full meal to satisfy both of our hungry bodies as well as Liam's and Zayn's. Truly I was thankful, now that things were going to be getting harder as the day came closer to deliver if felt nice to feel confident in exchange for fatigue. The nips of compliments Liam dropped every few minutes were most definitely a highlight.

Perrie's vibrant laugh draws me out of thought and I join her once a snort leaves her system. The white whine sloshes in her glass as it teeters back and forth in her palm. Zayn shakes his head at her, watching her have a fit with a grin on his face although he is smart enough to pull the glass out of her hand and set it on the table.

"Well we won't have wine stains on our new carpet now Perrie," Liam banters lightly, keeping a finger pointed at her

"Your the one that keeps filling my glass when i've nearly reached the bottom" she jokes after her breathing patterns have returned to normal and the ache in her stomach has subsided.

"Perrie love," I call to her as she makes a dashing escape towards the kitchen the kitchen to help herself of a small bowl of strawberries I had set out, knowing they were her favorites because they happens to be mine as well. Zayn's eyes knit together in confusion and he sends me a look at my sudden softness but I simply smile at him as if to say, you'll understand in a moment.

"I wanted to talk to you and Zayn before the night carried on." I inform, lacing my fingers together as Liam's hand rested on the smalls of my back.

"Sure, go on Mia whats the matter?" She reassures popping a slice into her mouth with delicacy as she listened in.

"Well, being that We do a close relationship with you both, Liam and I had been wondering..."

I observe there faces briefly before continuing. Zayn's face carving into concentration as if he were meditating on every word leaving my lips. Perrie keeping a still face as I dug deeper into the introduction of our proposition for them.

"We would like to know if you guys would be the godparents?" My voice wavers at the ending, forming the tone into a confusing question but I brush it off as I focus of the reaction of the lovely couple sat before Liam and I.

"Are you being serious?" Her voice squeaks and Zayn laughs, a wide grin plastered across his face, the look of honor overtaking his demeanor.

"completely honest" I flash her a smile when she covers her mouth with her hands.

"We would love to," Zayn answers, standing up and walking over to give me a hug but it turns into a seated hug as I didn't feel the need to force myself to stand. He went on to hug Liam then sit down as Perrie started babbling on again making all of us laugh at the plans for our little James Payne.

"I have more of a reason to spoil him now," Perrie cheers and I laugh at her, enjoying the company of a friend who was able to acknowledge Liam and me without forgetting about James.

Aye fruitcakes what's up? late night update, sorry if this is sort of short. I feel really bad when I write only like 800 words bc it goes by so fast it but then again this is a series not a novel. :/

btw, Who else is excited for the tour starting in a few weeks?! I heard theres going to be fireworks bc one of the crew members tweeted about it and I just cant wait jhguigijnera5hj6 ughhh. I can't wait to be able to see them everyday again bc I miss them so much :/ (i'm so clingy)
