As a member of the DeMolay, I must abide by the rules of my nation and love it with all my heart. You must be ready to stand for this country and fight for her freedom when the need arises. For some, that might be to take part in the military or to some it might be to become a political figure with a promise to improve. Patriotism is a must have when wanting to join the DeMolay because if it wasn't for your country, you wouldn't be able to be one at all
