Jack's POV
"I'm boarding the plane now, so I have to let you go." I hear Miranda say into her phone, "yea love you too, bye."
"Paige?" I ask.
"Yea." She smiles, "she has good news for us."
"Well this flight better hurry than." We take our seats on the plane.
*skips flight*
When we arrive at the airport, in New Jersey, Paige and her dad are waiting for us.
Paige runs to Miranda first, they almost collapse to the ground, which I thought was kind of funny. "I've missed you." Miranda says regaining her balance.
"Ahh I've missed you too." Paige smiles.
"What about me?" I ask.
"I'm so glad you're back." Paige smiles hugging me.
"So it is true." Her dad says.
"Dad, stop." She laughs.
"I brought you something." I say.
"Ooh, what is it?"
"Some Joe's pizza."
"I knew you'd bring me some." She beams.
"You kids ready to go?" My dad asks.
"Sure are." Miranda says.
I grab hold of Paige's hand and we walk out of the airport.
Paige's POV
"Where are you guys staying?" My dad asks as we get into the car.
"That hotel downtown, I've already made reservations."
"Sounds good, I can drive you guys over."
"Thanks."
*skips car drive*
"Here you guys are." My dad says.
"I'll help you with your bags." I climb out of the car.
"I don't think we need help, but you can still come." Miranda's dad says.
"I'll be right back dad."
"Don't be too long, I was gonna take you out for supper before we got home."
"Did you tell you Chris?"
"Not yet sweetie, I'll let him know. Don't worry." He kisses me on the forehead.
"Is it alright if I tell Miranda and Jack?" I ask.
"Of course."
"You coming loser?" I hear Miranda call.
"Yea." I run up to them.
We get up to their hotel room, Miranda has her own room and Jack and their dad share a room. But Jack insists he hangs out in Miranda's room, just to be with me and it not be awkward. "So what was the good news?" Miranda asks.
"Yea, I kind of forgot about that. Tell us." Jack smiles.
"My dad is taking that job with your dad."
"How's that good news? You told me you weren't going to leave your mom." Jack says puzzled.
"I'm moving with him to LA." I say.
"You're kidding?" They both say in unison.
"I'm not." I laugh.
"Paige! That's amazing! I can't believe it." Miranda hugs me.
"No more long distance shit." Jack hugs me tightly after Miranda.
"No more long distance shit." I whisper back.
