Miranda's POV
Jack brought Paige to the lake area he showed me, I had gotten a text from him telling me it's okay for me to leave to go to Paige's place to set up for her party.
I get an uber and start loading the car with all the things with the help of the driver, I told him the address and he began to drive.
We get to Paige's place in no time, her mom comes out of the house to help with the party prep. I hand the money to the man with a smile.
"Thank you." He says smiling and drives off.
I walk back into the house to start decorating only to see Paige's mom sitting on the couch crying. I go and sit beside her, "hey, it's gonna be okay." I whisper holding her hand trying to comfort her.
"No it's not, my daughter is leaving in less than twenty four hours and I'll be here alone." She says between sobs.
"Paige is going to come back and visit you, you know she will! Just because she's going to live in California doesn't mean she loves you any less." I say rubbing her back.
"I know it's just hard to grasp the fact she's leaving."
"Things will get better, okay?" I give her a hug.
"Why don't we start decorating? We don't have that much time until she gets back to the house and people start to show up!" Paige's mom wipes her face a smiles a bit.
We began to decorate and put food and drinks out. The place looked pretty good, people start showing up like crazy, all her cousins and a few of her friends and also Matt and Nash. Today was going to be a great day!
