Paige's POV

The next morning me and Miranda woke up really early to pack up some of my stuff. My dad decided we would leave when Chris and his family went back, which was only a few days away.

My mom decided she was going to sell the house, because it was too big for us as of now. She didn't seem overly upset of my decision to leave, I was kind of feeling the effects but when your mother stops believing in you than whatever happens, happens.

I had 2 suitcases that would hopefully fit my clothes, and I'd get rid of the rest. Miranda was in charge of that. I was in charge of putting everything in boxes, so the movers could take them to the truck.

"Need any help?" My mom asks.

"I think we are good, thanks mom." I smile.

"You'll come and visit right?" She asks, tears forming in her eyes.

"First of all I'm here for the next few days and of course I'll visit my mom." I stand up to hug her.

"I'll let you two get back to work." My mom leaves the room.

"Ok what the hell is this?" Miranda holds up a sweater.

"My grandmother knitted that for me!" I grabbed it out of her hands.

"Is it going to fit in the suitcases?" She asks.

"Fine." I say throwing it in the pile of clothes to go.

"Delivery." I hear Jack walk into the room.

"Ok first of all, thanks for the food but it's a girls day right now." I grab the pizza box out of his hand.

"But I wanna help." He whines.

I look over at Miranda and I guess she's thinking what I'm thinking and we both nod, "you can sweep, mop and clean the windows." I kiss him on the cheek.

"That's not fun." He pouts.

"Well you wanted to help." Miranda laughs.

"Why can't I do something else?" He asks.

"Because we started everything and that's the only thing left." I smile kissing him on the cheek again.

Throughout the day Miranda frequently asks if I really need to hold onto a piece of ugly clothing, it usually starts in a fight but ends up with me getting rid of it.

Jack eventually finished the 'dirty work' to my expectations, and it's actually nice. Than he helps me with the rest of my packing.

The only things I leave out are a pillow, blanket, chargers for my phone and laptop, laptop and phone, and of course my snack stash.

*a few hours later*

"I think we're finished here." We all stand in the middle of the room looking at the boxes piled against the wall.

"I think so." I wipe a tear that managed to slip out from my eye.

"Don't cry." Jack put an arm around my shoulder.

"It'll be fine." Miranda adds.

"I'm gonna miss my room." I say.

"But just think of all the fun we are gonna have in L fucking A." Miranda smiles.
