- Justin -
What if I'll never get to be friends with them as my normal self after this?
Maybe this was gonna be hard..
"Could I talk to you, Justin?" Luke nods, the others looking at him.
I tensed. "Uh. Yeah."
He leads me backstage, me standing in front of him.
I gulped at his stare.
"Are you gay?" He asks me, me breathing out in relief that he wasn't already catching up on my undercover gender.
"Why would you ask that?" I narrowed my eyes realistically.
"I'm sorry, it's just because.. You're always looking at me."
I rolled my eyes. "You are so conceited." I lied, walking away.
Close one.
Okay, tone down the staring a bit.
"What's wrong with Luke?" Calum questioned.
"He accused me of being gay?.."
They chuckled.
"What the hell." Ashton furrowed his eyebrows, still laughing.
"Yeah! But no, I'm not gay." I pointed.
"Yeah, you aren't." Calum patted me on the back.
"We should do somethingg" Micheal whaled.
"We should do.. Uhh.. Let's see." Ashton pondered.
''Dont think so hard." Michael joked.
"A three legged race!" Ashton grinned.
"What? Where'd that come from?" Calum laughed, looking at him weirdly.
"Well it wouldn't really be a race if we didn't have anyone else to race with." I shrugged.
"We could go against the brits!' Michael pointed at the five boys. "And the irish!" He quickly added, me chuckling.
"Well where's Luke? It would be an eight legged race, right?" Calum shrugged.
"LUKE COME OUT OF THE DARKNESS!" Ashton yells as I laughed.
He comes out, glancing at me and then looking away quickly.
Probably because I accidentally told him off.
"Here, we could tie our shoelaces together." Ashton nods.
"And if we fall?" Calum laughed.
"Calum's right, this is such a bad idea." Michael gushed.
"Don't say that! Let's do this thing." I say toughly.
"We're set!' I hear Harry.
When I turn around, I already find the five boys with their shoelaces tied to each other's.
"Oh my god." I whispered as they chuckled.
"Come on hurry up!" Ashton yells, as we all sit down on the floor and work the laces all together.
Ashton was tying his to mine on my left, and I was tying my right to Luke.
Michael and Calum were on the other end, fumbling with their shoelaces as they rushed.
I chuckled.
Once we finished, we froze.
"How are we getting up?" Calum finally broke that silence.
"Okay, one, two, three." I counted as we all attempted to get to our feet, slightly succeeding.
I almost fell back, Ashton and Luke catching me as I smiled.
"Thanks." I smirked.
"THE RACE BEGINS IN THE HALLWAYS BACKSTAGE!" Louis screeches as all five boys ran except tripped along the way which made them slowler.
"Okay, try to not trip." Michael states somewhat the obvious as we all waddled away.
The stairs were the hardest going down, you could say.
"AGH MICHAEL DON'T STEP ON ME" Calum grunted, Ashton laughing.
It took us about 20 seconds to figure out walking as we all squabbled over to the hallways.
"Well finally they're here!" Zayn says sarcastically.
"Ugh, shut it Malik." Ashton narrowed his eyes.
I rolled my eyes instead.
We lined up, One Direction on the left, and five of us on the right.
"READY"
"SET"
"GOO!"
Pretty much a disaster was happening.
A three legged race was hard. But don't you think an eight legged race was harder?
We were in the lead, laughter was all I was hearing as I couldn't help but laugh along.
I really thought we were gonna win..
But then, Calum trips, making all of us trip and pile over each other one by one.
We were still laughing yet groaning in pain as I whaled.
"YEAH WE BEAT THEM!" Niall yells, nearly the whole hallway could hear.
"Oww. Ahh." Ashton was still laughing, as I groaned, glaring at Luke who topped me.
"Sorry." He stuck his tongue out, me rolling my eyes.
"Let's never do this again." Michael spoke.
"Agreed." We all spoke in unison.
Well wasn't that painful.
