Chapter 12

Laurence POV
No...
I stand there unable to move. I watch as Aph turns away from me and runs toward the door, reaching it, and mumbling something before bursting into tears and fleeing the convention center.

I whirl around finding myself only an inch away from her. "Michi! How could u do this to me? I love her!" I scream at her. "Ugh." she scoffs, "All the more reason. I need her out of the picture, so we can be together!"

I gag in disgust. Michi just ruined my relationship with Aph, I need to talk to her. I start walking towards the door. "Where r u going, u big hunk of handsome?!" Michi yells. "Away from scum like u!" I yell back as I break into a run.

I get back to the hotel pretty fast, but all I can think about is Aph. She pushed me away. She hates me, I duck my head. When I finally reach her room, I stop and take a breath. "Aph?" I call as I knock. No answer.

I try again. No response. I lean in and put my ear on the door listening for any movement. There is none. Hmm. Where could she have gone. I'm surprised she didn't come here.

I step back from the door to think. Ok, so when I'm sad, wat do I want to do? Video games! Of course, where else would she be. I take the elevator down and run across the street to the arcade I saw when I arrived. I run in, and I see her, all the way in the back playing Pac-Man.

I grin and sneak up behind her covering her eyes. "Guess who?!" I say playfully. Suddenly I feel a sting, and my hand flies to my cheek. Did Aph just slap me. I step back astonished. "Wat the heck Laurence! How dare u just come in here and flirt with me! We both know wat u did! So leave me alone!"

Her voice rings in my head as she storms out. "Wait, let me explain!" I yell after her, but she's having none of it. I sigh and turn back to the game. I see the ghosts surround the character and I see his inevitable death. I feel like Pac-Man, dead.

I slowly walk out of the arcade and down the block. I picked some spots to go sightseeing. I had planned to do it with Aph, but it looks like we won't be talking for awhile.

I have been walking for a bit, and I start to feel better. I start to convince myself that I can tell her. I just have to make sure I get my word in before she pushes me away.

Just as I am finally getting my confidence back, I turn a corner. My heart breaks. I see Aph in a diner talking with another guy. She is obviously laughing and having alot of fun with whoever this blonde haired dude is.

Oh, I guess she's already moved on. I feel my shoulders slump and my eyes start to water. I push back the tears and force myself to turn around and leave.
I walk back to the hotel as quickly as I can. When I reach my bed, the tears start to flow. I can't believe she moved on that fast. I guess she doesn't love me...

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been writing as often. I kinda forgot this existed for a bit to be honest. Then my chapter got deleted before I could publish it. The list goes on and on.

Anyways, I don't think I will be doing Chapters as often anymore. But I'm not abandoning the book, so don't worry. Thx again!
