Chapter 15

Aphmau POV
I opened my eyes and sighed. "I guess it's time to go back to the convention..." Yesterday, after Laurence and I parted ways, I had roamed around the convention, but I was bored.

Nothing happened, yeah I got some more souvenirs, but it just wasn't the same, not without Laurence. I get out of bed and get dressed. I head out my door and am waiting for the elevator when I hear the TV turn on in Laurence's room.

Intrigued, I walked away from the elevator, not hearing it's ding signifying that I could descend. I walked up to his door and put my ear to it. I gasped as I stepped back in amazement. No way was he watching anime!

Wow, I liked him even more now! Then I remembered, ugh, why do u like that other girl enough to kiss her. That just proves he doesn't love me, he never kissed me. But, that won't stop me from loving him.

I walk back to the elevator and press the button. "Ever..." I make it to the convention, still in pretty low spirits. Then I bump right into someone. "Sorry, sorry." I say. I look up to see... "Lucinda!" I yell.

"Aphmau, long time no see! Wat r u doing here, I didn't take u to be a video gamer." "Well, u thought wrong, I'm totally obsessed with this game!" "That's awesome," she replied, "We should play together some time. In fact, how about u come over to my house and I'll test ur skills!"

"I'd love to." I replied. Anything to get my off Laurence. We rode in her car out into the county, and finally we came to her house. It was quite tall, and very beautiful.

"Wait, I thought u loved in Florida." I said, looking confused. "Oh, I'm always moving houses." she replied casually, "I don't like staying in one place for too long." I nodded, even though I didn't understand at all.

We went inside and Lucinda brought me over to the computers. I sat at one and she sat at the other. As we played, we taught each other tricks. I taught Lucinda how to get Irene enchanted armor, and Lucinda taught me that the weakness to witches was water.

At one point I looked up from the computer to see it was dark outside. "Omg, sorry Lucinda. I totally lost track of time. I need to get back to my hotel, I have to leave tomorrow. It was nice catching up with u. When I get back home I'll message u and we'll play some more." Lucinda nodded, but I could tell she was sad to see me leave.

Lucinda drove me back to my hotel and we said our goodbyes. I took the elevator up to my room. Wow, I thought, 4 days went by fast. All I have time for tomorrow is to pack up, leave, and... and... say goodbye to Laurence.

I hope I get a chance to. We haven't really talked since... the arcade. I went into my room and fell down onto the bed. I was exhausted. I hope me and Laurence can get back on better terms. I don't know how much longer I can live without him, I love him.
