Chapter 5

Aphmau: Ugh... (The wind was really getting in the way of finding Laurence. I push the door open, while trying to juggle my bags at the same time. I sweep the room looking for someone who might be Laurence. Then my eyes settle on a handsome man with soft blue eyes, and wavy brown hair. We stare at eachother for a moment) Laurence?
Laurence: Aph?
Aphmau: (I nod and we stand dumbfounded, looking at each other. I shake my head, bringing me back to my senses) Hi Laurence! I'm so happy to see u how was ur flight?
Laurence: (shakes head, seeming also to try and get back on track) Um, it was great. How about urs?

(Aphmau and Laurence get in the elevator as Aphmau explains the slight problem with her flight. They arrive at Aphmau's hotel room, which is right next to Laurence's)

Aphmau: So how 'bout we meet up at the Starbucks right next to the convention center. Then we can explore from there.
Laurence: OK, sounds great! (He sounds enthusiastic, but still seems a bit dazed)
Aphmau: (I wonder if Laurence always acts like this? I walk into my room, set my stuff down, and see how big my room is. It's pretty small, but I am only one person, so it should be fine. I unpack my stuff and head back down to the lobby. I hail a cab and arrive at the Starbucks. As I open the door a little bell rings and Laurence looks up from his phone and smiles. His smile is so cute! Wait, why did I think that?! You and Laurence are just friends! I need to get my feelings under control!)
