Laura's POV:

My mom came three hours later with two pairs of sweatpants and two random shirts, but we were still waiting 6 hours later.

I picked up my phone and saw that Luke had texted me to pick him up after my brother was born, he was flying with us to Ireland.

I was pacing back in forth in a corner, were C-sections supposed to take this long?

A doctor ran out into the waiting room.

"The Mulroney family?" he asked looking a bit tired and flustered.

I stood up along with Harry, "Yes? It's just us 2." I mumbled because my dad didn't want my mother and Adam there.

"Follow me." the doctor grinned letting us follow him back to another room.

Eva smiled weekly at us , "Hi guys." she whispered; almost inaudible.

"What's up with her voice?" I asked them as Harry and I walked over to the side of the bed.

Eva went to talk but my dad hushed her, "The doctor thinks it's just sore."

"Sorry." Harry mumbled and Eva just shrugged before removing the blanket and pulling the hospital gown up to show the small baby.

"Can I hold him?" I asked them.

My dad nodded and lifted the small child out of Eva's arms, "Meet Mitchell Carlos Mulroney." My dad said with a grin, placing my new brother in my arms.

He was so small and precious, Mitchell yawned and I awed at him.

"Who's the god parents?" I asked my step mom and dad.

They both looked at each other, "After some consideration, we want Adam and your mother." My dad stated making my jaw drop to the floor.

"Are you serious?" I asked them and they both nodded.

"Can I go introduce him to his god parents?" I asked my dad and he nodded.

I smiled and made sure his blanket was kind of loose before leaving the room and going to the waiting room.

"Hi guys." I smiled over at my mom and Adam who had just arrived.

"Who's this?" My mom asked in a happy voice.

I smiled, "Mitchell Carlos Mulroney, your god child."

My mom and step dad eyes widened, "Our what?" Asked Adam.

"Your godchild."

"Did you ask them to do this?" My mom asked me in confusion.

I shook my head, "I didn't know about it till about 5 minutes ago."

"Can we hold him?" My mother asked.

I shook my head again, "No, not until I leave." I stated and gestured for them to follow me back to Eva's room.

We walked back to the room and I sat in one of the chairs next to Harry, I noticed out of the corner of my eye that my dad was glaring at him but all of the sudden stopped.

"Is something wrong?" I asked everyone.

Eva went to talk but my dad shushed her, "No, everything's fine." he grumbled.

Harry gripped tightly onto the armrests of his chair until his knuckles turned white.

"What time does our flight leave?" I asked Harry trying to loosen the tension in the room.

"In an hour."

"Oh shit, we have to go." I mumbled and Harry nodded.

"I'll be in the Hall." Harry grumbled, standing up and leaving the room.
