Bryn sat quietly on their way home. Her only thought was Lias. He was so much nicer than the boys described him. Oh why did he have to be so perfect? It would be so much easier to ignore him and forget she even met him.

She couldn't bring herself to not respond to his texts, so she held her phone close to her so that her brothers couldn't see who she was talking to.

"Are you okay?" James asked her as he glanced in the rear view mirror.

"Oh yeah. I'm fine." He nodded then fixated his gaze on the road ahead.

Hey there -Lias

Hey -Bryn

How's your ride home? -L

Bryn sat, contemplating whether or not to text him back.

Hello? -L

Did I do something wrong? -L

I'll make it up to you. How about we go out this Friday. Are you busy? -L

By the way, what's your name? -L

Hey sorry. My name is Bryn -B

A pretty name for a pretty girl -L

Do you do this to every girl -B

What do you mean? -L

You're Lias Hamilton.   Senior quarterback. Huge player.  -B

What? -L

Exactly -B

Bryn frowned and set her phone on her lap. Her phone lit up with a text, but she didn't reply.

Bryn let me explain -L

Bryn please -L

I admit I was like that but I'm not now -L

Please just answer me -L

After a few minutes, Lias finally stopped texting her.

When Bryn got home, she went straight to her room.  After she plugged her phone in, she turned on her tv and put in yet another Disney movie from her enormous collection.  After the movie ended, she could feel herself drifting off. Her phone jolted her awake as it rang.

"Hello?" She whispered groggily.

"Sorry," a male voice said through the phone "did I wake you up?"

"No it's okay. I wasn't sleeping yet. Who is this?" There was a slight pause.

"It's Lias."

"Oh hey."  A few awkward minutes passed between them before Bryn rose the courage to speak.  "What's up..."

"Can I say something without you getting mad?"  She sat staring at her wall before mumbling a quiet 'sure'.  "I don't know what you've heard about me, but I just want you to forget everything you've heard and just ignore it all. I want to talk to you knowing that you're actually getting to know me and not someone everyone is making up.  Can you do that?"

"Um yeah I guess."  Lias let out a sigh.

"Can I see you tomorrow?"

"Yeah. We can meet at Starbucks or something."

"Okay great. I'll see you at noon. Goodnight Bryn."  She hung up. Right before she fell asleep, her phone lit up with a text.

Sweet dreams beautiful -L

The next day, Bryn got up early so that she could take a shower and look good for Lias.  She made sure to shave, brush her teeth, and straighten her hair.  She left it down and did her makeup natural.

"Where are you going dressed like that?" Bryn's dad asked her from the dining room table as he gave her a once-over. Her outfit consisted of light blue skinny jeans, knee high swede boots and her off the shoulder Hollister shirt that was a light pink color.

"Dad I'm just going to hang out with some friends.  I'll be back later."  He nodded his head and looked back down at the news paper he was reading.  Bryn ran out of the house before her brothers could say anything to her.

When Bryn arrived at Starbucks, she saw no sign of Lias. She sat at a corner table and waited patiently for him to show up. She waited a total of twenty minutes before she realized he was blowing her off.

Bryn stood and was about to leave she heard the door swing open. Immediately all the girls in the store started to drool. In walked Lias looking fine as ever.  He wore plain jeans and an under armor t-shirt.  His blue eyes sparkled when the light hit them.

Bryn could feel her pulse quicken. Their eyes locked and Lias smiled, showing his pearly white teeth.

"Hey." His angelic voice hummed.

"Hey. I didn't think you were gonna show up."  He blushed and looked at the floor.

"Yeah I'm sorry about that. My dad was making me do this crazy football training and he wouldn't let me leave."

"It's okay. My dad's like that with my brothers."

"Who are your brothers?"

"Jase, Jax, and James. They're the triplets. They play football."  Lias looked panicked.

"Oh. I didn't know."  Lias stood quickly.

"Wait! Where are you going?"

"I have to go. I just remembered I have to uh...do something. I'll text you." And, with that said, he ran out of the building.
