Some people just need some love and attention. It can be the small things in life that can make a difference to someone, it can even change them for the better. The small things are sometimes a person's best qualities. From the way that they smile and a small glint forms in their eyes when they do so or their little signs of affection. The small things mean a lot to people like me.
For people who's life revolves around technology, being shaded and hidden away in an office no bigger than a shoe box and having little or no interaction with other human beings, seeing a face daily can really pull you back into reality and away from the monotonous ways of the world, especially if this face is different, individual, full of life, yet is missing something and only they know what it is.
Don't you ever think about what "it" is?
What is this "it" that can make a person complete? Sometimes "it" is not an object but "it" maybe an emotion or perhaps a person. But we still stay oblivious to the true meaning of "it".
I don't think we truly understand the value a thing can have on our lives until we have to say goodbye or until we really need "it".
I guess to a person, specific objects, words and feelings mean different things to them. A photo. A single snapshot of a moment frozen in time could mean so much to you and have so many memories attached to it, whilst a person could to.
You know the saying "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me". That's a lie. Words hurt, physically and mentally, they can be thrown at you, hit you and wound you and only you would know that, because you have learned to hide the real effect that they have, in fear of it hurting someone else. However at the same time they can heal the one who is broken both inside and out.
But then again, I guess that there is no exact way of explaining what these "Words", "Objects" and "Feelings" actually are. They're just things that people use when they can't find the right ones themselves. They are the ones that fill in the blank spaces in a person's vocabulary when they don't know what to say themselves.
Yet, if you still think about it at the end of it.
They're all just words.
Each have different meanings, each have a different impact, each individual.
