Phoebe's POV
Me and Brad are currently in Hawaii for my Birthday which was 2 weeks ago. He secretly booked the flights and surprised me on my birthday. It's perfect here! It's so relaxing and calming and it's the most beautiful place I have ever seen.
"Come on! I booked us a restaurant for 7 so you need to hurry up" Brad shouted running out to me where I was relaxing on our decking which has a perfect view of the sea
"But baby why don't we just sit here and snuggle together" I begged pulling him on my lap
"Nooo! I've booked it now and that's all we have done all holiday" He grabbed my hands and pulled me onto my feet
"Fine but what kind of restaurant is it?" I asked
"Wear a dress I would say" he paused nervously "I'm gonna take a walk but in 30 minutes you better be ready"
"Okay, okay I will!" I laughed as he walked out the door
Brad's POV
I walked along the beach trying to calm my nerves. Today could either be the best day of my life or the worst and I'm scared to find out. I took deep breaths as I walked along the calming beach.
I don't think I have ever loved someone the way I love Phoebe and I can't wait to show her tonight. It's been mostly an amazing journey with her since we got back together two years ago. We have our fights but come on what couple doesn't!
I walk back into our villa to find Phoebe in this stunning black lace dress which stopped mid thigh. I just stood there staring at her
"Do you think i should wear the blue one" she asked picking up a blue dress from the back of a chair
"Definitely the black one! You look so gorgeous" I said placing a kiss on her delicate lips
"So are you ready to head down to the restaurant it's only a five minute walk from here?" I asked
"Sure lets go"she said grabbing her purse off the table
Phoebe's POV
We have been in the restaurant for about an hour now and we have just ordered dessert
"Brad I don't want to leave here" I complained as I held his hands on top of the table
"We still have 3 days" he shrugged
"But it's perfect here"
"So it's been a good birthday present?" He asked with a smile on his face
"Definitely" I said kissing him over the table
He let go of my hands and started looking for something in his pocket. I was guessing he was going to show me something on his phone probably a picture of his dog Jesse or something
"So would this make it better?" He asked
I looked at him with a confused expression
He stood out of his chair and moved closer to me and then got on one knee and pulled out a black velvet box. He then opened it to reveal a beautiful diamond ring. I stared at it with shock and then back up to Brad's smiling face
The whole restaurant went silent and everyone was looking at us
"Phoebe will you marry me?" He asked
"Yes!" I shouted
The room filled with claps and cheers as Brad slipped the ring on my finger and I stared at it for a few seconds before getting out of my seat and giving Brad a passionate kiss as he picked me up and span me round a little. When he put me down I just stared up at him with a massive smile on my face as he did the same as we sat back in our seats
"So we are actually getting married?" I asked laughing as it hasn't sunk in yet
"Well Phoebe Simpson does have a nice ring to it" he said as we laughed
"And kids that is the story of our engagement 10 years ago" Brad's said holding my hand as we were telling our two kids how Brad asked me to marry him since they wanted to know because it was our 10 year anniversary
"Daddy can you tell us some more stories about your band you used to be in" Dylan begged
"No come it's your bed time now! Maybe tomorrow night" I said as I picked up our eldest Layla and started tickling her as Brad did the same with our youngest Dylan
I placed Layla in her bed and kissed her on the forehead and said goodnight and went over to Dylan's room and did the same. Once they were both spark out I walked down stairs and sat on the sofa next to Brad and snuggled into his chest as wrapped his arm around me
"It's been a good 10 years hasn't it" Brad smiled looking down at me as I looked up at him
I nodded
"An amazing proposal, beautiful wedding, sunny honeymoon and two beautiful kids" he said as his smile on his face grew
"And I wouldn't change it for the world" I said as I kissed his soft loving lips
