It was the middle of the night before they got home. Ventar had dropped the four off at their house, and Bethany immediately went to work assessing the damage done to Jordan, as he sat, barefoot, on his bed. Bethany was vigorously working, despite the fact that Cierra and Isaac were already sound asleep. She had refused to rest until she knew Jordan was going to be okay.

"Bethany," Jordan giggled, tiredly. "Listen, you can help me in the morning. I'm exhausted, and I know you are too. You've got dark circles under your eyes." Bethany indeed was tired, but didn't reply. Jordan pulled his legs away from her and under his covers. "I'm fine, get some sleep. The best thing for me right now is sleep, anyway, and probably the best thing for you, too."

"Fine,' Bethany sighed. "I'll be in here checking you out in the morning though."

Bethany kept her word, and was in Jordan's room bright and early the next morning, while Jordan was still waking up. Cierra and Isaac were barely awake, and eating breakfast, but Bethany had already eaten, while Jordan had not, so she brought some food up for him to eat while she worked. The red flower kept Jordan's flower company, while the yellow flower helped heal Jordan's wounds, which were pretty nasty. His ankles were blistering and slightly black from being burned, and his hip was dislocated, which would be tricky to put back into place. Bethany and her yellow flower worked with Jordan's ankles first, then devised a plan to get Jordan's hip back into place.

"Lie down on your side," Bethany instructed, and Jordan did so, with a slightly annoyed sigh. "If I do this correctly, it should only hurt for a moment."

Bethany took hold of Jordan's thigh and displaced hip joint, and took a deep breath. "Ready?" Jordan nodded and braced himself as Bethany counted to three. "One, two, three!"

Bethany pushed Jordan's hip back into its socket, as he gave a surprised shout of pain, and groaned as the pain settled. Bethany was still a little skeptical that she did it right.

"Stand up, and put more weight on your leg," she instructed. Jordan pulled himself out of his bed, and stood up, putting more weight on his left leg, which was the one that was dislocated. No pain, no weakness. He began to walk. No limping. Bethany seemed satisfied.

Later that day, Jordan took a walk over to the natural hot spring that was near the house. When he got there, he sat  up against a tree to rest. Next to him was a small brown mushroom. Even though it was only a mushroom, Jordan smiled at it, knowing that he was the only one here. He stripped down and stepped into the hot spring to relax. As the hot water parted around his foot to allow him to enter it, he heard a hiss behind him, startling him. He whipped his head around to see what it was. A spider. Unfortunately, his sword had been stolen when he was captured by the Tree Pigs, so he had no weapon do defend himself with. The sun was beginning to set, so he knew this spider would attack, but Jordan did not have the patience to wrestle this thing, especially while nude.

Suddenly, an arrow flew through the air, hitting the spider in the head from behind. The spider died immediately, and Cierra approached Jordan, who, embarrassed, turned around and submerged himself in the water. Cierra laughed at him for feeling embarrassed, even though they were siblings, and this wasn't the first time one had seen the other naked.

"Sorry," Jordan apologized. "I got freaked out."

"Its fine!" Cierra insisted. "Can I join you?"

"Sure, I've got no problem with that."

Cierra stripped down, and with her back facing the wall of the hot spring, climbed in with him.

"This is the most relaxed I've felt in a while," Jordan sighed, relieved that the turmoil was over.

"Definitely," Cierra agreed. The two of them sat in silence for a while, taking in the sounds around them. Doves were cooing in the distance, preparing to migrate for the winter. Autumn was almost fully fledged, and the trees were almost completely colored in gold, red, and orange. There was complete peace in the moment.

But there was one thing that Jordan dreamed of that night: turmoil, war, rage, and return of worldly and deathly evil.

Hey, guys! This is the end of the first plot of the Autumn season! The next plot will be surprising, and hopefully a little longer!
