Kellins P.O.V
I walked into the classroom filled with so many amazing instruments just waiting to be used. I went to the back of the classroom and got out my song book, getting straight to work. Our task over the next week was to write a song and come up with music and lyrics, we were supposed to work in groups but my group wasn't really a group. It was me, my best friend Justin Hills and our other friends Gabe Barham, Jack Fowler and Nick Martin but then Mr Way told us we had to separate because we were messing around, all I can say is I have no regrets. Although now I'm on my own and all I can do is sing so it's not much of a song with no instruments if you ask me. Mike walked in and sat next to me.
" hey, what are we supposed to do then?" He asked me, I explained the project and he nodded. About 10 minutes into the lesson vic called mike over and started to talk to him about something which I couldn't quite hear, great now I'm alone again.
Vic's P.O.V
"Come on mike.Please. We need you, your in the band" I begged him, we have a band outside of school with me, mike, tony perry and Jaime Preciado. The band is called pierce the veil. I saw mike smirk. Oh no what's he thinking now.
"Okay, sure" he said, I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding in. "but..." He continued, I sighed. What does he want this time. "Only if Kellin can join" and there's the catch. Fuck. We need mike. Urgh that bastard he knows I hate kellin.
"Fine what can he do?" I asked him, he shrugged and turned to Kellin calling him over to us. Kellin stood up hesitantly and slowly made his way towards us. That's right Kellin you better be scared. I fucking hate mike.
"Let's just get this over with, okay so Kellin can you actually do anything or are you as useless as you look?" I asked him. He started fidgeting in his seat uncomfortably.
"Urm w-well I can s-sing" he stuttered
"Well I'm doing that so you really are useless" I stated. Mike gave me a warning look and I just sighed "whatever just don't mess up and try and be useful" I exclaimed and turned around to go back to tuning my guitar.
Kellin's P.O.V
I pulled out my song book and searched for a certain page. I found the song I'm working on, I wasn't going to use it for the project but vic didn't give me anything to do so I decided to continue writing it.
'I'm tired and I'm lost

I continued to write for the rest of the lesson until I felt someone breathing on my shoulder, I almost jumped to the moon. Thankfully It was just mike.
"Oh my god Kellin that's amazing." Mike said excitedly. I just shrugged in response and started to collect my belongings as we only had 2 minutes till the end of the day.

I trudged into the house and greeted my parents. As I began making my way upstairs I heard my mom call me over.
"Hey sweetie how would you feel about a family camping trip?" My mom asked practically bouncing up and down with excitement. I nodded my head in content. To be honest I'm super excited because I've never been camping. "That's great we just have to inform victor and Vivian that we can come. It's this weekend and you'll be sharing a tent with vic and also Vics brother mike is coming so be nice" my mom explained
"mom cant I share a room with mike instead of vic" i pleaded
"Mikes bringing a friend, plus you and vic get along great" my mom said as I tried hard not scoff at her remark. I just sighed for like the fifth time today and went up to my room.
About an hour later I heard my phone buzzing. I looked at the caller ID to see it was mike.
"Hey dude so my parents told me about the camping trip, I can't believe you have to share with vic, dude I'm so sorry I would say you could stay with me but I invited my friend tony. You know the one in our band but anyways dude I'm so sor-" he rambled on
"Mike it's fine, all I have to do is sleep it's not like I have to spend the days with him, I'll be fine" I reassured him but honestly I'm scare to the point words can't even describe!
"Okay awesome, so you wanna come round mine for a bit I'm extremely bored"
"Urm, I can't sorry, I Urm I got loads of homework" I lied, I just don't wanna see vic
"Come on dude your a terrible lier plus if vic tries to annoy you I'll sort him out, please dude I'm begging you"
I contemplated his offer for a while until I finally gave in.
"Urgh fine but you owe me mike" I sighed. I could hear him cheering on the other side of the phone.
"Yes thank you so much" mike cheered
"Whatever" I mumbled and ended the call.
I told my mom I was going to mikes and put my black converse on whilst grabbing my bag and sped out of my house.
