The Bad Boy Who Can't Resist The Nerd

Graduation

I woke up in the hospital with a doctor smiling at me. That's not what I wanted to see. I wanted to see my friends and see that they are okay.

"Hello Sofia my name is Dr. Hamilton you have a minor concussion, but you'll be able to go home tonight. You will have to keep it easy for a little while though." She was about to leave, but I grabbed her arm.

"Wait are my friends okay?" She frowned and sat down.

"Livia has three broken ribs and a broken leg. Alex had glass stuck in his head, but we got him in surgery in time. You and Paco were so lucky with that kind of crash." I closed my eyes and then opened them up again.

"When will they be able to go home? Graduation is in." I looked at the calendar beside me. "Four days."

"They will have to stay and take it easy for about a week. We want to make sure they heal properly, I'm sorry I don't think it's best they walk for graduation." I frowned and nodded. Then Paco walked in.

"Hey friend, how are you holding up?" Paco had a cast on his arm. He sat down next to my bed and I sat up, but almost fainted.

"Take it easy there." He helped me lay back down.

"Did you see Livi? How is she? And Alex?" Paco smiled.

"They are good. Livi is watching t.v and Alex is trying to come and see you, but the nurses won't let him. I swear he was going to try to knock out the male nurses." I smiled, that sounds like my Alex.

"What are we going to do Paco? They have to walk with us or I wouldn't even want to go." Paco's smile faltered.

"Come on lets go see that crazy friend of yours. She'll knock some sense into you." He helped me up and we went to the room next to mine. Livi was watching NCSI. When she saw us come in she smiled and turned it off.

"Hey bestie how are you doing?"I walked to her bed and sat down with her.

"You're asking me that when you look like half a mummy?" She laughed.

"Hey I think I'm cooler now. I mean I broke my ribs,and my leg. I feel pretty badas$."

"Livi I can't walk for graduation. I can't unless you and Alex are by my side." Livi frowned.

"What's your problem? Of course you're going to walk. That is awesome!" I sighed.

"Not when you're not walking with your best friend."Livi smiled.

"Awe Sweetie I'll be okay. Just tell your mom to video tape it for me. I want you to walk no matter what. Hey why don't we facetime and we will both walk. You can get my diploma for me and we will walk together.Problem solved!" I laughed.

"Okay I bet nobodys seen that before. Lets do it." Paco came in rolling Alex in a wheel chair. When Alex saw me it looked like he saw a unicorn.

"Angel you're alright!" He yelled. I smiled and ran to him. He hugged me and kissed me all over my face I pulled back, laughing my face off.

"I missed you too."

"What happened, did you break something?" He looked all over my body with the most concerned face I've ever seen. I loved him even more.

"Just a mild concession.I'm more worried about you. I heard you got class stuck in your face." He had little marks everywhere, but he was still the most handsome man I've ever seen.

"Yeah I'm fine. I'm a big boy, but you're my little angel."I smiled even more and kissed him on the nose. Livi was awing like a little girl in the background.

"Paco why don't you say stuff like that to me." Paco grunted and looked at Alex.

"Thanks man, do you have to say stuff like that in front of her? Not all of us are mushy like you." Alex rolled his eyes

Today was the day of graduation. I stopped by the hospital and had Livi do my make up. She insisted even though she's all banged up. She said, and I quote,'just because I'm in a hospital doesn't mean I'm going to let you do your own makeup.' So here I was standing in line, waiting for my name to get called with Paco and Livi.

"Sof higher I can't see anything!" Livi yelled. I held the phone higher and she smiled. They called Paco and I was up next.

"Don't be nervous. You're fine."

"Says you, you're in the hospital." She rolled her eyes and then they called my name. I walked up and people laughed. Livi waved at everybody and they laughed harder, even the teachers. I smiled at them and took mine and Livis diploma. Once I was off the stage I went to find Paco. When the last kind was called they announced class of 2016 and everybody threw their hats. I threw Livis too(yes the phone had a hat on, Livi insisted).

"Yay! Sof bring me to the stage." I sighed and went up to the stage.Everybody were chatting still. Livi yelled and they stopped.

"I just wanted to say that this was the best year yet and it was all because of my awesome friends. Make sure that you keep the ones who make you laugh until you can't breathe and who cries with you when you think you can't take it anymore. I love you guys more than anything. Sof face me toward you."I faced her towards me and a couple people laughed. "Sof you are the most wonderful friend I've ever had and I want to stay friends with you until the very end. Thankyou." She finished and I got off the stage. I smiled and actually hugged the phone.

"Livi you are my bestest friend ever, I love you." She smiled.

"I love you too."

Livi and I were friends till the very end. We even had our wedding at the same day. Yes we married our high school boyfriends and I gotta tell you it felt good. You could say Alex and I lived happily ever after, so did Livi and Paco. We got houses next to each other and acted like we were still in high school with one acception. Our kids!
