The Bad Boy Who Can't Resist The Nerd

"So did Alex ask you to go to prom yet?" Livi asked me. We were sitting on the swings on the park. I looked at livi and pouted.

"No and it's two days away! I thought he loved me. I mean I never thought I would be going to prom with a boyfriend and now that I have one I would like to have time to get my dress and stuff." I said, frustrated. Livi stopped swinging and grabbed my phone. Before I could ask her what she was doing she texted somebody. When she was finished she smiled and handed me back my phone.

"There you will meet him at your house at three." I looked at the time.

"Livi it's 3:30." I showed her the time. She groaned and took my phone again and texted Alex while I laughed. She finished and smiled.

"There he will meet you at four. Are your parents home?" I got up with Livi and started walking home.

"No they are having a date day." I picked a flower and put it in my hair.

"A date day? Don't parents have date nights?"

"Yeah, but they like their days together so they either go walking on the woods or just stay at a friends house." We reached my house and I saw Alex's motorcycle. I opened the door and yelled honey I'm home! Alex came down the stairs with a dozen red roses and a puppy with a black bow tie. My mouth dropped to the floor and I ran towards the puppy. I smothered it with kisses and laughed when he yawned, he's so adorable.

"That was supposed to be for me." Alex said pouting. I smiled and smothered him with kisses too. When I was done he got down on one knee and said those special words.

"Sofia will you go to prom with me?" I gasped.

"Oh Alex I wasn't expecting this. Of course I'll go to prom with you." Alex rolled his eyes and gave me the roses. I went to put the flowers on water and heard Alex muttering.

"Of course you weren't expecting it. Your demon of a friend only gave me a very gorey detail of how she would kill me of I didn't ask you right now." I laughed. When I was done with the flowers I brought them into the living room.

"Well don't you know anything about timing? Prom is on two days. You have to take me to go dress shopping." I sat on the couch with Alex and the puppy while he put on a movie.

"Don't you want your dress to be a surprise?" He asked.

"Well yeah, but you can pay for it since you waited to ask me now." I smiled and pecked him on the lips. He rolled his eyes.

"I guess I deserve that." I snuggled closer to him and closed my eyes. Then there was a knock at the door. Livi was standing there with Paco.

"I totally forgot about you. I'm sorry." I said, hugging her.

"It's fine I was going to get this guy anyway." She said pointing to Paco. " So are you ready to get our shopping on?" I looked at her and Paco and then Alex and smiled.

"Sure Alex and Paco are buying." I patted Alex on the head grabbed my puppy and headed out the door with Livi.

We were about an hour into the drive. I got bored so I started poking Alex on the cheek. About five seconds after he grabbed my thigh and squeezed. Of course I squealed which caused Paco to swerve and almost hit a dog.

"Paco watch where your driving! You almost hit that dog." I yelled. Paco looked at me like I was a mad women.

"You are the one screaming." He said, waving his hands around.

"That's because Alex squeezed my thigh!" Alex smirked.

"You're the one who kept on poking my so you started this mess angel." He put his arm around my and I huffed.

"Finally we're here and can get away from this mad women" Paco said pointing at me. I stuck my tongue out at him and got out of the car. 

"OK Alex, sweetie, give me your credit card." I asked sweetly and stuck out my hands. Alex groaned and gave it to me. Livi did it to and got Pacos. We decided to separate so the boys can't see our dresses. Livi and I tried on so many dresses and I didn't find the right one. I was about to give up until I went to this store called dresses for sweeties, yeah I don't get the name either. Livi found her dress a while ago and helped me pick it out. It was a cute black lace knee length dress that had little triangle holes around my belly. It was perfect because it was pretty, but not to pretty. Do you get it? When we went to pay my puppy wriggled around in my purse and the cashier person looked at me funny. I just smiled and paid for the dresses. We found Alex and Paco standing in the Taco Bell line. I told Alex that Livi and I will go to the Chinese thing, I was craving Chinese food. We got the food and sat at one of the tables in the middle.

"That dress is perfect I can't wait to see his face when you guys meet to go to prom." Livi said. I smiled and put some chicken in my purse for my puppy.What should I name you?

"Same goes for you,your dress is so you." Alex and Paco came over and ate their tacos.

"So can you at least give us a hint at what your dresses look like?" Alex asks. I shook my head.

"Not going to happen you yummy person." At that Alex smirked.

"Yummy?" I scoffed.

"Have you seen yourself? All the girls drooled over you when we walked in." Alex kissed my cheek.

"You're the only girl for me angel." I blushed and pushed his face away. Good thing Livi and Paco were talking and didn't notice that little thing that just happened.

"Ok people we should get home." I said putting my food in the garbage.
