Chapter 2

Levi's POV

As soon as Eren had left the classroom I let out the breath I didn't know I was holding in. I put my pen down and ruffled my black hair with a sigh

What's wrong with you Levi, this is Eren we are talking about here. Eren, a guy. A highly intelligent and dangerous guy at that. So why the hell are you feeling like this? You are stone cold, not all melty around school boys. Get over yourself.

I decided to try to relax a bit more before doing more paperwork. I got up and left the classroom, closing the door behind me. I walked down the small and bland hallway until I had made it to my favorite room.

A single music note was on the front of the black door, I opened it slowly and closed it behind me again. I was in the music room, there were large windows all across one side of the room causing a warm sunlight to filter into the sad building. I made my way over to the piano and sat down heavily, I rested my fingers lightly over the keys of the large grand piano and started to play. I got lost in the music I was playing, the notes making my confused heart lift.

Erens's POV

I tried to get some sleep after my friends had left but it seemed to evade me as much as possible, I tossed and turned trying to get comfortable.

Come on sleep.

I decided I wouldn't be sleeping anytime soon so I sat up in my bed, the sun was still coming in through the window. It was a really nice summer evening so orange light came into my room

No wonder I cant sleep I'm an idiot.

I got up and went over to my door, I stepped out into the hallway and went down the cold halls. There were barely any windows so it was lit with candles.

When I walked for about 5 minuets I started hearing soft piano music, it sounded very skilled. I closed my eyes, listening to the quiet tune. I walked towards the music and ended up facing the music room, the door blocking most of the beautiful sound.

I opened the door very softly, peeking my head into the sunlit room. Music flooded my ears as I stepped into the room, my bare feet hitting a warmer floor. I moved some of my hair away from my face as looked to see who was playing piano.

When I saw the short black hair and strong shoulders of Levi I gasped, He can play? So well? My heart sped up a little faster.

Levi hadn't noticed I was there so I fully came into the room, closing the door behind me. I straightened my shirt subconsciously as I walked slowly towards Levi. I didn't want to disturb Levi's playing

Levi ended the song and it became quiet in the room, apart from our breathing. I should probably say something...let him know I'm here...

I cleared my throat, "Uh that was amazing..." I said quietly, Levi jumped in his seat causing his hands to come down on the keys, making a terrible sound. He whipped around and looked at me in anger, the sunlight behind him making it look like he had a halo around his black hair.

"What are you doing here brat?" Levi said fiercely, "how long have you been here?!"

"I-uh just when you were finishing the song" I said quickly, I stood up a little straighter "it was really good"

Levi's shoulder's relaxed, he looked at the piano while standing up "Its fine" he turned and walked towards me, "Can you play?"

"Yea I can" 

Levi indicated to the piano, "well? Show me" he walked over to the piano and stood by it, waiting

"Ok" I walked over to the piano and sat down, I brushed my fingers lightly over the keys and then started to play. As soon as the song was done I looked up at Levi, his eyes were at the keyboard and a small smile was on the corner of his mouth.

"You're good" Levi lost his smile and looked up at me, I stood up and my heart rate shot up as I could smell Levi's musky cologne. I looked down into Levi's eyes, he had a very intense stare and I noticed he had very blue eyes. The blue was enhanced in the sunlight.

I could have sworn Levi was starting to lean forward, his hands crossed over his chest. When the door to the music room slammed open and a trainee ran in, breathing heavily

"Sir! Levi sir an attack!" the trainee bent over, putting his hands on his knees and breathed heavily "They sent for you sir!"

Levi kicked into action, "right, you" he turned to me "get your friends, now!" he ran out of the room and down the long hallway, yelling commands and banging on doors. "Everyone get ready!"

I dashed out of the room and ran towards Armin's room, I knew Mikasa was already up and going, I barged into Armin's room. He jumped and turned around, his blonde hair getting ruffled with the sudden movement "Eren whats happening!?"

"Titans! Get ready!" I ran back out of his room and to the weapons, getting armed and meeting up with the team. As I predicted Mikasa was already with the group. Levi paced in front of the line of recruited soldiers, everyone was battle ready and strong
