A/N: This chapter really sucks so I'm adding another one shortly.

------------------------------------------------------

I spent the night at Liam’s house after everyone had left the party. From what I heard, everyone had a great time, especially Niall. I didn’t pay much attention to him the whole night in light of recent events. My opinion about him was completely changed. Little did I know, it would change again eventually.

I woke up to find Liam’s arms wrapped around me from behind and over my chest. One of our hands had fingers intertwined, which I don’t remember doing. I guess it happened when we were both asleep. I turned my head a little and saw his chin was pressed against the top of my head. Mine and Liam’s height difference was ridiculous. Liam was either 5’10” or 5’11” (1.778 m. or 1.8034 m.) and I was 5’1” (1.5494 m.) I rolled over, forcing Liam’s arms off me. He grabbed the blanket tighter and stirred a little. “Good morning,” I whispered.

He opened his eyes, looking directly at me. His hand reached up and touched my hair, stroking it a little. I noticed his eyes looked heavy, so I let him go back to sleep. I got out of bed and took a shower. Today was my brother Josh’s 16th birthday and my parents had informed me of a sort of surprise party. Great, I thought, this would be my second night in a row partying. But this time I might actually drink since my dad talked my mom into letting Josh drink as well. I doubted that tonight would in any way be better than last night, though.

As I shut off the shower water, I heard footsteps walking down the hallway. I assumed it was Liam getting up, since Ruth and Nicola were passed out and probably hung over after a night of partying. I put on my clothes from yesterday so I could quickly head home.

“Good morning, babe,” Liam kissed my forehead as I came down the stairs. “Sleep well?” He asked.

“Not as well as you did,” I chuckled, recalling how he cuddled me all night. He laughed a little too, but I could tell it wasn’t genuine. “How are you feeling?” I questioned him.

He stuck out his lower lip and shook his head. “Just fine,” he lied. I knew he was lying- the lower lip was a sure sign.

“You would tell me if something was wrong, wouldn’t you?”

“It’s no big deal,” he replied. “It was just a text from Danielle.” My stomach churned at the sound of her name, along with the thought of what she’d texted him.

“Well, since it’s no big deal, what’d she tell you?” I grew more concerned and worried that she had told Liam everything, including the part about Zayn.

He shrugged. “I don’t know if you know, but Danielle is, err, was expecting a baby,” I could tell he felt the need to explain himself. “Not with me, of course. See, she was waiting until we were married. Erm, not that we ever were going to get married, but if we were, she wanted to wait,” his voice trailed off, but he caught himself. “So she basically betrayed me.” He nodded his head, eyes totally focused on my feet. I looked down at them, too.

“Whatcha looking at, Liam?” I asked him.

“Oh, sorry,” he cleared his throat. “She just wanted to apologize again and let me know about her miscarriage.”

MISCARRIAGE? I was furious. This girl had the nerve to cheat on her boyfriend with two of his good friends, get pregnant by one, blackmail me, abort the baby, lie to Liam, and apologize to him?! She had to be stopped. I almost considered telling Liam everything. The whole, real, factual story as it happened. Then I remembered Niam, and how the two of them hating each other would ruin the chemistry of One Direction as a whole. Also, the whole Ziam and Ziall thing would be ruined, too. I couldn’t let Danielle rip this band of friends apart. Who was I to ruin One Direction?
