Chapter 21

Rachael's POV
I lay back down, and eventually Tyler does too. He's smiling so much now. We're still laying there, for another thirty minutes or so, and we're just talking about our lives and what we like to do in our free time. Then, my phone goes off and I sit up and look at who it was, it was Filip.

Filip- Hey, are you guys still at the park?
Rachael- Yeah, why?
Filip- Just making sure you are okay. I love you, be safe!
Rachael- I will. I love you too Fil

"Who was that?" Tyler asks
"Oh, it was my brother making sure that I was okay." I say to Tyler laying back down
"Okay." Tyler says. It gets really cold, even though it's September, and I'm wearing a long sleeve. I start rubbing my arms to try and warm them up.
"Are you cold?" Tyler asks me
"Kinda." I say back to Tyler
"I have another jacket in my car, do want mine?" Tyler asks
"Sure." I say to Tyler
"Okay, we can walk back and go get my other one." Tyler says standing up. He puts his hand out to help and up, and after I get up, we pick the blanket up and start walking back towards his car. He gives me the black jacket that he is wearing, and we eventually get back to his car. We get inside of his car to warm up, and he hands me the aux cord again.
"Hey, wanna go get some ice cream?" Tyler asks me
"Sure, just let me tell Filip that that is  what we're doing." I say to Tyler
"You're really close with your brother, aren't you?" Tyler asks me
"Yeah, he the best brother I could ever ask for. I try not to give him too much trouble, since he is the one who is taking care of me." I say laughing a little bit. I text Filip and tell him that we are going to get ice cream, and he says that I need o be home by 11:30 it's 10:45 right now, so we will have enough time.
"My brother said that I need to be home by 11:30." I say to Tyler
"Okay, we'll have enough time to go get ice cream and make it back to your place." Tyler says
"Okay." I say with a smile. I turn on crushcrushcrush by Paramore, and we jam out to that on the way to McDonald's. We go into McDonald's, and we get our ice cream and sit down. We talk a little bit before we get up and leave so he can take me back home. When we pull up the apartments, it's 11:20. I sit outside in Tyler's car and thank him for taking me out.
"I had a really good time." Tyler says
"I did too, thanks again for taking me out." I say to Tyler
"We should do it again sometime." Tyler says with a smile
"Definitely." I say with a smile on my face. Tyler leans in to kiss me, and I kiss him back again. We both smile and look at each other when we pull apart. I get out of the car and I start walking up the stairs and I can't help but think,
"Should I go out with Tyler?" I say out loud to myself. I unlock the door to the apartment, I walk in, and I walk over to Filip who is still sitting on the couch, but I don't see Jennifer anywhere. I go stand behind Filip and say,
"Did Jennifer leave?" I ask Filip
"Yeah, she left about 20 minutes ago." Filip says
"Okay. Well, I'm gonna go wash my face and then go to bed." I say giving Filip a kiss on the head
"Okay, good night sis." Filip says as I bend over and he kisses me on the cheek and gives me a hug. I walk into my bathroom, take off my makeup, then I change into my pj's. I notice that I still have Tyler's jacket on. It smells really good, and it's really comfy, so I decide to wear my joggers, a tank-top, and Tyler's jacket to sleep. I turn on my music, and I fall asleep listening to "The Workday Release", my favorite band.
