"I'm sure Rose wants to see you, Kanaya. :D"

How many minutes have already passed since we told Kanaya to find her used-to-be-drunk matesprit here in this woods where Egbert said Rose will be? Was she that worried? I never understood what she was worried about in the first place. Didn't she know her own girlfriend? .....Then again, maybe she did.

"Well," she bit her bottom lip. "Alright Then. If You Two Are Really Sure."

"Yeah, yeah, we're sure." I gave her a thumbs up.

And she did. While trembling, that is. And she turned her glowy-thing off.

"Do you think she'll be okay? She didn't look so good." Jake asked his mother after a couple of minutes passed.

"She'll be fine." Jade smiled and ruffled his hair.

"Did you know you could send a message to the trolls via phone?" I randomly inserted. "I'm the only one Karkat told about picking up Kanaya." I couldn't help smirking. No need to remind them that I'm also the one Vantas messaged that Maryam was alive.

"He messaged me about that too, you know. About picking up Kanaya and all."

"Yeah, but he messaged you on your computer while he messaged me on my phone."

"What's the difference?" Jade asked apathetically.

I sighed in defeat. "Nothing. I just wanted to say that you could communicate with them through phone." then turned to the kids. "So, what do you guys want to do?"

Silence.

Jake shrugged. "Well, I want to see Aunt Rose and Aunt Kanaya get back together again." I thought I saw a glint of curiosity in his eyes. Something out of the ordinary seemed to please this boy.

"Me too!" Dirk raised his hand.

Jade was staring at something behind us. "Oh hey, look, there's John and Rose's kids walking towards us." she waved while the three of us dudes turned around. "Maybe they want to see Kanaya and Rose, too." she chuckled.

"Uncle John, do you want to see Aunt Rose and Aunt Kanaya?" Jake asked them when they got near.

Egbert laid a hand on his shoulder. "That's why we're here, sport."
