The rush of the city soon calmed as they lay in waiting, every warrior keeping a wary eye ouot for anything suspicious. Aerrow stood tall alongside Dez, each looking in different directions, their heart in their throats in anticipation, the rest of the squadron guarded with other Knights, their anxiety slowly creeping up at them whilst they tried to 'keep their cool'.
Not long after, warriors started to notice a mass incoming from the distance. To their distress, it wasn't only airships like the one in their courtyard, but dark magic dragons, those that refused to live alongside the Monarchy, partnered with roughians, pirates and worst of all, Dragon Slayers.
Some stepped back, others stepped forward, the mixed fears shuffling between them. Dez stepped forward, ordering for everyone to stand their guard, waiting for what will unfurl. Unexpectedly, the airship descends to land, not far from the courtyard,, the bay doors opening as it landed, almost systematically. Once the airship landed, a figure dressed in dark clothing descended to the courtyard, it was her.
Cyclonis stood laughing as she waited for this unimaginable power. The skies were dark and with the panic of the people, she had fear on her side.
"Once we are finished with this dump, we can start taking over the rest of this side." she looked straight ahead, thinking of the best way to show her triumph. Maybe starting with the demolition of the tower.
"Master Cyclonis, by the looks of it, the Princess is no where to be soon, nor is their precious White Fang." the general smirked, knowing full well what that connection implies. The evil grin grew larger with this information.
"Let's be sure to make this something they will remember." she started to advance forward, "So, this is what you have to stop me?" she chuckled. "Even Atmos had more of a fight."
"Then, it would be that much easier to beat you." Aerrow shouted from next to Dez, the both of them advancing to the front of the lines.
"Ahhh, why isn't it Aerrow, if I didn't know any better, i'd think you like bumping into me." she laughed.
"Cyclonis, you will not win this, once we are done with you, we will take you back to Atmos for your punishment." Aerrow pointed at her, making sure she could hear every single word.
"Oh Aerrow, if anything I will make sure that will never happen. I like to conquer and that's what I'll do." she smiled back.
"Not if we have anything to say about it" Piper popped up along with the other squadron members and knights.
"Oh Piper, that position to join me is still open, but of course if you refuse, I'll have to destroy you." shrugging her shoulders, now wrapping up the chitchat. "Now, where is this Princess of yours? She's the lady i'd love to have a chat with."
"She'll be here soon enough." he stood his ground, knowing she is taking careful steps to jab at him, he clenched his jaw as he cleared the remark from his mind.
"That's too bad, I wanted to get the chance to get her on board of my plan too, seems like she has made a runner" she once again giggled after looking side to side, as if in search, soon looking back to Dez when he clenched his fists, tightening his grip on his sword.
In anticipation, a roar of the of an airship blew above the scene, causing everyone to look up in haste. Some knowing far early than others to who or what it is. The adrenaline sprang their hearts into action.
"I thought you said that the ship was destroyed!?" The general yanked an underling into his line of sight, anger brewing in his eyes.
"Sir, the radar showed no ship after the blast. Maybe it was some kind of witchcraft?" the boy panicked timidly. Throwing him back, he grunted as he turned to Cyclonis, knowing he would be punish and it terrified him at how calm she was.
