"Where are you going?" I whine from Ryan's bed.
I ended up spending the night last night. I was a little cautious, but it was fine. We ended up turning on Criminal Mind reruns, but we both fell asleep within two minutes of the episode.
"I have class in twenty minutes, Michael,"
"But I'm cold!"
"God, you are so childish," She sighs before leaving the room and soon comes back with some blankets. "I have to go. Help yourself to food, but don't break anything."
Once I heard the front door close I hopped out of bed and left her apartment.
I quickly showered and got dressed before grabbing my car keys and wallet. When I get to my car I start the engine and drive to the closest grocery store.
"Can I help you with anything, sir?" A worker greets me at the front entrance.
"Uh I need flowers,"
"If you go right and keep walking straight you should find them there," he tells me.
"Thank you." I smile at him before walking where he told me to.
I found the flowers and decided to buy the sunflowers because their bright and vibrant like Ryan.
After picking up the rather expensive flowers I go to the candy section and grab a few of her favorite sweets.
When I thought this was too cliché, I went over to the music section and picked up The 1975's new album and some random Green Day album that was on sale.
When I got home Ryan wasn't back yet so I put everything I bought on her bed, closed the door and left her apartment.
I hope this is enough. All I'm trying to do is make Ryan happy and feel wanted. Random acts of kindness like this make anyone happy right?
