I finally have a week off of school since exams are finished for the semester.
I decided to treat myself when I got home and pour a class of red wine and watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
I'm soon interrupted by a knock at the door. C'mon I was in a comfortable spot, whoever this is better be important.
I open my front door and I'm met with my ex boyfriend.
"Michael?" I furrow my eyebrows.
"Hey, Ryan,"
"How do you know where I live?"
"I live with Luke," he says, pointing to his door.
"I knew he wasn't living alone,"
"How have you been?"
"Stressed, but I've been hangin' in there," I smile shyly at him.
"I see you still have my necklace on," he smiles, pointing to the paper airplane necklace he gave me when I had to leave while he was still on tour.
"It makes a great accessory," I run the necklace across my neck as I stand awkwardly in the door way. "Oh, I'm sorry, do you wanna come in?"
"Oh, no I just wanted to stop by. It was nice seeing you again," he smiles at me before walking away.
This is gonna be awkward. My ex boyfriend is living right next door to me.
I close my front door before going into my bathroom room and starting the bath.
I take off the paper plane necklace, putting it in a drawer. That probably looked weird having his necklace on while we've been broken up. He probably thought I was still holding on to him but I've been better than ever.
I try to stop thinking about him and hop in the bathtub to relax for once in awhile.
