21! Bring Back The Psycho Girlfriend

"V-Victoria, please." I rasped, covering my face as she piled more and more dirt onto my body, some of it spilling into my mouth. I coughed and spat, getting rid of all the debris that snuck into my mouth.

All I could hear was Victoria's high laugh, now tainted with hysteria. "You probably think I'm mental."

I had the nerve to scoff. "No. Not even that. I think you've gone absolutely around the bend. Cuckoo. Totally screwed up."

She leaned in close to me, trying to keep her balance as she clung to the side of the ditch, so she could get back out. I tried not to wince at her foul smelling breath of lipstick and morning stench as she hissed, "Then you should've thought twice before kissing my boyfriend, bitch!"

I frowned. "Hey, I thought we were friends!"

She picked up a pile of dirt and threw it into my face as she cried, "No! Your a slut I wish Avery and I had never met!"

"Victoria, I'm sorry. I was wrong, and I was stupid, I apologize. But don't you think that this is a little rash-"

"No! I'll give you what you deserve!" she screamed, her voice echoing through the trees, making everything ten times as spookier.

I rolled my eyes, despite my situation, and got up from where I was laying. When Victoria pushed me into the ditch, my foot got caught in a tree root that looped up in a whole before digging into the ground again.

Unfortunately, my foot was just unlucky enough to slip through it, almost snapping my ankle in half. While Victoria was spewing hatred and dirt at me, I was wiggling my foot as discreetly as possible, trying to get it out.

Now free, I stood up without hesitation and grabbed the first thing I could touch. A tree brance. It had the thickness of a walking stick, thank God. Victoria's eyes widened under the moonlight as I smiled. "Good night, Victoria."

Without any uncertainty, I brought the stick down, hitting her right in the middle of her head. She lost consciousness almost immediately, making me almost want to giggle in hysteria. Suddenly, I felt a huge pressure on my head and a high beeping. I clutched my temples, massaging them, as I sagged down next to Victoria.

I had a terrible head ache and a definitely hurt ankle from trying to forcefully yank it out of a confined space. I don't think anyone would blame me for taking a little snooze...

When I woke up, birds were singing a sweet melody and the sun was shining, high in the sky. Oddly refreshed, I got up and stretched, my steps faltering when I put pressure on my left ankle. Rubbing it absently, I looked next to my sleeping spot.

Victoria was still there, a huge, ugly bump on her forehead. It was already at least an inch high and turning a gross purplish yellow. Trying not to gag, I picked up the same stick I had used yesterday from the place I had discarded it, and poked her in the ribs.

She didn't even stir, her somewhat even breathing being the only thing that told me she wasn't dead. Damn, should've hit her harder.

Suddenly, I heard someone yelling my name. I recognized Rex's voice instantly, almost fainting with relief. "Over here!" I screamed, waving my stick in the air.

Dirt sailed over the edge of the ditch, landing beside me in a sprinkle. Two brown eyes peered over the edge. "Charlie?!"

I smiled and waved, weakly. "Hey, there, Rex. Missed you."

He was looking into my eyes one second, and was right next to me in another. He took in the sight of my swelling ankle, my dirt covered body, and an unconscious Victoria. I shrugged. "You know girls."
