Chapter 11- Sweet Jesus

Lux's P.O.V.

I woke up this morning in Steven's arms, memories of what happened at the party still fresh in my mind.
I looked up at him, still sleeping peacefully. I smiled and rolled out of bed. I went back to my room to get dressed. After I'm dressed I went downstairs for some breakfast and found David in the kitchen with a cup of coffee.

"Ah good morning my dear," he smiled a warm smile at me.

" Good morning, how'd you sleep?" I asked making myself a cup of coffee too.

"Good, thank you. Um...about last night I need to know what happened?" He said walking to the dining with me following. We sat down and looked at one another.

"Well I was with Steven most of the night when he left to go talk to some other family members. I went outside and the next thing I knew I was inside the pool house with Cody pinning me to the wall. He then.....," I looked down not wanting to talk about it anymore.

"Ok I know what then but what happened when Steven and Zach showed up?" David asked leaning forward.

"Steven tackled Cody to the floor picking him a few times before Zach told him to stop. That's when Steven carried me out of the pool house," I replied.

"I'm sorry dear,I never intended for you to get hurt," David apologized. I sighed and smiled at him.

"It's okay it's not your fault," I replied squeezing his hand.

Steven's P.O.V.

I woke up but only to find the space next to me empty. I wonder where she could be. I got out of bed and took a quick shower before getting dressed and heading downstairs. I found Zach and together we made our way to the dining room.

" Good morning father," I said sitting down next to Lux. She smiled at me mumbling a 'mornig'.

" When are we going to the lake house?" Zach asked with a mouth full of food.

"Soon I hope," I replied earning a confused look from Lux.

"Lake house?" She asked looking at me and Zach.

"Every summer we go to the lake house for a week or two. It's lots of fun Zach explained. She nodded her head.

"So when are you guys leaving?" My dad asked putting his coffee cup down.

"I was thinking maybe tomorrow and then we'll spend the next two weeks there," I replied.

" I leave in a week to go hang with my friends back home so I'll only be with you guys for a week," Zach explained.

"Okay so it's settled then, dad will you be joining us for this trip?" I asked because he usually does.

"No not this time, after Zach returns I fly out with him so I can visit his mother. And next week I'll be in the office all week," he stated. Well I guess it's just me and Lux for a week then.

"Oh okay," I said and finished my breakfast. After breakfast David went the office and Zach said he had a date so he also disappeared.

Lux's P.O.V.

Everyone has left except me and Steven. I sat down in the couch in the living room trying to watch TV but I was too bored to even focus on the program. Steven was currently in the gym hitting a punching bag over and over again.

I decided to go and sit with him while he kept working out. I left the house walking to the little house in the backyard. The basement of this house was equipped with a gym where the top floors was like a living quarters.

I found him in the kitchen drinking a glass of water. He tired his head to me when he heard me coming in.

"Hey, come to watch me?" He asked smirked at me.

"No I'm just really bored," I stated which just made him smirk more.

" I can fix that," he said walking closer to me stopping in front of me. Wow he's really close and he looks so good. My heart starts beating faster as he lifted me up and placing me on the counter.
He stepped into the place between my legs, staring into my eyes.

"Would you like to know how?" He whispered leaning towards me.

"Y-yes," I stuttered. I was taken by surprise when his lips connected with mine. I almost instantly responded to the kiss putting my arms around his neck. His hands found their way to my waist.

He lifted me off the counter deepening the kiss. His hands found their way to my thighs squeezing them as he walked to the couch. He sat down with me straddling him. I broke the kiss and trailed small kisses down his jaw to his neck. He brought my lips back to his kissing me more passionately. Oh sweet Jesus this feels so good.

I opened my mouth a bit allowing him to slip his tongue in exploring every conner of my mouth. My fingers went through his hair as he pulled me closer to him. His hands went from my thighs to under my shirt caressing my skin sending tingles down my spine.

He broke the kiss a few seconds later, both of us panting heavily.
He smirked at me as my cheeks became heated.

"Damn, you're one fine kisser," he said looking my in the eyes. I blushed even more. I got off his lap all of the sudden feeling self conscious. He noticed the change in my mood. He put his fingers under my chin making me look at him.

"What's wrong? " he asked concerned. I looked down shaking my head.

" It's nothing," I replied but he didn't believe me.

" Tell me what's wrong," he said.
I sighed and looked back in his eyes.

"Why did you kiss me? "I asked already regretting my question.

"Because I wanted to, it's becoming more difficult not to. You're lips are so tempting," he replied. Oh. My. God. I think my heart just stopped. I smiled at him before leaning in and planting my lips back on his. Sweet Jesus I won't be able to stop.
