─── THE HIGH-PITCHED SOUND of a tea kettle whistling in the distance, reminded all the Wonderland creatures in the distance that it was time for tea. However, at the time, they were all in the midst of a great game of Hide-and-Seek, in which Alice was seeking them out. She had already found Hatter, the March Hare, and surprisingly enough, the Dormouse, leaving her with only one last creature involved in the game to find. That honour fell upon the White Rabbit, who was giving Alice quite the challenge as she searched all over the land for her companion. Crawling on her hands and knees, all that could be seen, was a head of blonde hair circling around as she covered every grove and ditch.

"Oh goodness," the girl huffed after scraping her hand against a briar patch, "where has he gone?"

In the distance, she could hear the laughter of the March Hare and she could hear the Mad Hatter calling to her, telling her to hurry up before her tea became cold. But the girl was determined to win the game, she needed to find Mr Rabbit and he was certainly not going to fold just to give her the win either. However, within a split second of the girl resting her hands on her hips, she caught a dash of white flicker in the corner of her eye. Alice quickly turned her head and just a hop and a skip away, she spotted the White Rabbit.

"Mr Rabbit!" she exclaimed. "I found you!"

"Yes, but you still have to catch me, Alice!"

Stomping her foot into the ground, Alice threw her head back and let out a groan. It was only half the battle trying to find the White Rabbit, she had completely neglected that she had to capture him in order for the game to be truly over. He had a good enough headstart, but Alice would not lose as she started after him. They ran through the overgrown grass and the stalks and stems of the large flowers that called the field home. Alice was careful not to trip over the roots of the trees as they often offended them or stirred them from a nap.

As the rabbit looked over his shoulder, he could see that during her time in Wonderland, Alice had grown quite agile as she was catching up, nearing his pace. He let out a fretful squeal before dropping down to all fours to escape her, but even that wasn't putting up a comfortable distance between them. With no other choice, the White Rabbit darted into a burrow to escape her, leaving Alice to come to a sudden halt outside of it.
