Hyun Ae hated the way their footsteps rang throughout the deathly silent hallway as she and Libby rushed to their first class of the day. She normally wasn’t a violent person but today she felt like murdering the maknae AJ. The sophomore hadn’t bothered waking them up before she left for class this morning even though it was her fault they’d stayed up late last night helping her unpack. Actually she and AJ had done all the work while Libby was too busy trying (unsuccessfully) to get AJ to fess up about her relationship with Chen, Suga and Namjoon.

The door to the dance studio was open and Libby took a peek inside while Hyun Ae crossed her fingers.
“How screwed are we?” she asked Libby.

“Good news, it’s not Hyoyeon so we’re not in deep shit. Bad news is its Eunhyuk so we might still get some kind of hideous punishment.” Libby replied.

Hyun Ae sighed in relief; “I’ll take him over the she-beast any day. Let’s wait for the perfect moment to sneak in.” She replied peeking into the room over Libby’s shoulder. Eunhyuk had his back to them and it would have been the perfect moment to sneak in, except...

“Isn’t that AJ? What’s she doing in our class?” Libby asked.

Before Hyun Ae could point out that they probably came to the wrong studio a deep voice whispered in her ear;

“What are you looking at?” Hyun Ae squashed the squeal that threatened to escape from her throat. Her mood soured even further when she saw that it was Sehun who’d scared her. Ignoring him she said good morning to Kai who was standing behind Sehun. Kai responded with a yawn, his hair was still rumpled as if he’d just rolled out of bed.

Sehun merely rolled his eyes, “Why are you lurking in the doorway?” he asked looking at Hyun Ae who was doing her best to look anywhere else but him.

“We’re late, and we don’t want Eunhyuk to catch us sneaking in.” Libby explained after realising that her friend wasn’t going to respond to Sehun.

“But our class hasn’t started yet.” Kai said rubbing his eyes. The poor guy looked like he wanted to go right back to sleep.

“But the timetable said...” Hyun Ae said pulling the paper out of her bag, before she could even have a look Libby had snatched it out of her hands.

“This is AJ’s timetable pabo!” she whisper shouted. Our class doesn’t begin for another forty five minutes.”

“Oh.” Was all Hyun Ae could say. Now she felt bad for secretly cursing the sophomore in her head.

“Who’s AJ?” Kai asked.

“I am.” Came a voice behind them causing both Libby and Hyun Ae to jump. AJ was leaning on the door frame with an annoyed expression on her face, which Hyun Ae noticed AJ often wore around Libby and herself.

“AJ. Hey!” Libby chirped. “Cute outfit.” She said gesturing to the dance shots and tank top AJ was wearing.

“Eunhyuk wants to know what you’re doing.” AJ replied ignoring Libby’s compliment, but a light shade of rose was dusting her cheeks.

For some reason Hyun Ae had never imagined the brash younger girl as the blushing type. She bet it was a rare thing for AJ to blush and found herself marvelling at the sight. And it appeared she wasn’t the only one, out of the corner of her eye she saw that Kai was subtly checking the sophomore out.

“We thought we were late for class, turns out someone switched our timetable with yours.” Libby said giving Hyun Ae the evil eye.

“It was an honest mistake.”

“Honest mistake my butt. I could have slept for an extra 30 minutes.” Libby argued.

“Well now that you’ve realised your mistake, could you leave. You’re disturbing the class.” AJ said.
