AJ had just sat through the most awkward brunch of her life. Her granddad had deceived Michael into believing that they were having a business meeting so when AJ had shown up, things had gone south pretty fast. After Michael left she'd had to endure listening to her granddad come up with a list of possible suitors while he ignored her protests.
Thankfully he'd been called away on an emergency and she'd declined a lift back to school. As she walked aimlessly around the city, she tried to ignore the looks people gave her. GSA was a well-known academy; it was no secret that most of the kids who went there came from filthy rich families.
She spotted a vintage store across the street with a Polaroid camera on display. She checked to see if she had her credit cards on her and did a little happy dance on the sidewalk."You have an excellent eye." The shop-keeper said, "They don't make these models anymore," he said wrapping it up for her.
"I know." AJ giggled, she was on the verge of being giddy.
The camera had cost a pretty penny, and she normally didn't spend so much money on just one item, but when it came to her camera collection she couldn't help herself.
"Thank you. Have a nice day." She called over her shoulder to the old man. She'd definitely be back here again; there were a lot of interesting stuff. Since there was a bit of time before Suho's meeting she went into the mall for some shopping and ended up getting matching his and hers Rolexes for herself and Suga. She also spotted a really cute leather jacket and a girl could never have enough pairs of converse high tops could she?
By the time she was done with her mini shopping spree, she was hungry. She walked into a fast food store and while she was waiting in line someone called her name.
"Autumn Jai are you skipping out on school?" Chen asked with a smile.
"I could ask the same thing about you?" she said, automatically falling back into that old familiar comfortable camaraderie she'd shared with Chen. His smile always had the ability to put her at ease.
"I am actually, those party supplies won't buy themselves," he said gesturing to a table behind him. She spotted Chanyeol and Baekhyun who were having a game of rock, paper, scissors and next to them was a bunch of bags.
"Why didn't you just get someone to deliver them?"
"Now where's the fun in that?" he asked. It was finally their turn to order after they were done, Chen invited her to come and sit with them.
"Well, now this is surprising," Baekhyun said, "Never thought I'd see you two comfortable with each other again."
"Hello to you too Baekhyun." She said as she set her bags down.
"Are you here by yourself?" Chanyeol asked looking around the restaurant, "Libia's not with you?" he had the cutest expression on his face his face, AJ internally awwed at the fact that he was nursing a mild crush on Libby.
"No, sorry."
"Oh," he said crestfallen.
"So," Chen said catching her attention, even through the layers of both their blazers, she could feel the heat radiating from his body as his arm brushed against hers. "...are you coming to the party?"
"I didn't think you'd want me there." She said, making him blush.
"Ah, that...I panicked that day when Libby gave you the invites, sorry." He rubbed the back of his neck. Their food finally came and they were having a nice conversation until Baekhyun and his big mouth ruined it.
"So AJ, are you single now?" he asked.
"Yes..." she answered suspiciously.
"Is that so? Did you know that Chen-ssi is single too? What are the odds that you would both be single at the same time?"
"Yah! Shut up and eat your food." Chen said throwing some fries at him.
"I'm trying to help you here." Baekhyun pouted."Well we don't need your help, If AJ and I want to get back together, we'll do it on our own, right?" he said looking at her.
"Er...yeah." She replied feeling flustered and busied herself with her soda.
"Speaking of single people, do you know if Libia's seeing someone?" Chanyeol asked. Baekhyun and Chen groaned.
"I swear if you talk about Shin Libia Norma one more time, I'm going to kill you." Chen said.
"Me too," Baekhyun agreed.
"This is the first time I've talked about her today. So is she single or not?" he asked AJ.
"Er...I'm not really sure," she said, "but I've heard rumours about her and that scary senior guy who's running against Suho."
"You mean Kris?" Chen laughed, "Those two can't even stand each other. They're always at each other's throats."
"Could be sexual tension." Baekhyun suggested.
"I doubt it; Libia would never go for a guy like Kris." Chanyeol said bitterly.
"Actually he seems like the perfect match for her, they both have a lot in common." AJ added in her opinion but instantly regretted it when she saw Chanyeol's mood darken;
"But you could totally get her to like you if you put your mind to it. With your personality it shouldn't be too hard." She quickly added.

They were half an hour late. Libby was having a hard time keeping her temper under wraps. Not even Suho and Hyun Ae could get her to calm down."Why don't we just get started, we'll fill them in when they get here." Suho suggested.
"Fine." Libby agreed silently vowing to kill the Beagle Line and AJ later. None of them were answering their phones and Kai didn't recall where AJ was meeting her grandfather.
"We'll start with working on a draft of your constitution. Ae, that's more your forte right?"
Hyun Ae got up to present what she had so far just as the door burst open. Libby was about to rip into them but the sight of Chen walking in with a beaming AJ was enough to slightly pacify her. She accepted their apologies and watched as they picked seats next to each other. Much to her annoyance, Chanyeol chose the seat next to hers.
"Ae, continue." She said ignoring his presence.
"Sure." Hyun Ae said sparing a sympathetic glance in Kai's direction. Kai offered her a small smile, but she knew he was far from ok, judging from the way he was looking at Chen. After giving her presentation, the next thing they discussed was the posters;
"Listen to me AJ," Libby said grabbing her by the shoulders and getting into AJ's personal space. "I need you to make sure Suho's pictures are perfect. I know you think I'm being dramatic, but believe me when I say that Suho in real life and in pictures are two different things. I don't know what he does, but no matter how handsome and dandy he looks in real life, for some reason that doesn't show in the pictures."
"Hey!" Suho protested.
"Don't hey me. We both know it's true. You just focus on getting your speech ready." She said making everyone in the room laugh.
"Did I get my point across AJ?"
"I think so. But I'm going to need help."
"I'll help her." Kai offered.
"Great. Now that we've sorted...Yes Chanyeol?" Libby sighed when she saw his raised hand.
"What are we supposed to do?" he said gesturing at himself and the rest of the beagle line.
"Oh right. Your role is to promote Suho, use your popularity to get people to vote for him. That means no more pranking him in public."
"So we can do it in private then?" Chanyeol asked.
"Whatever floats your boat honey." She replied and quickly realised her mistake when Chanyeol beamed at her.
"I'm your honey?" he asked.
"Get over yourself Yoda. It was just a figure of speech." She said.
