David's POV (when finding out Jamie was actually Kate)
The coach broke away from Adam's grip and ran up to Jamie's dad who looked relieved to see Jamie well, I couldn't blame him.
"Sir, the red-haired man and that boy had badges but they didn't have any cuffs, so there badges could be fake."
I glared at the coach; why would he try to take Jamie down with him if the vendetta was against me and not him but I didn't mind if Adam went to jail. Jamie's dad looked at the coach with a serious expression than turned to Jamie and Adam and said;
"Would you mind showing us both you're badges?" I figured detective Wilson was just playing along with the coach, I guess a little pay back for tying up his son.
Adam went to show his badge first and detective Wilson ensured the coach it wasn't a fake. Jamie then went closer to show his badge.
"Everything seems to be in order..."
The coach cut detective Wilson off; "Everything seems to be in order, his badge says Kate Wilson and he doesn't look like a Kate."
I looked at Jamie who just smiled; "I don't, I could have sworn..." He rubbed his head than pulled on his hair but it wasn't his hair it was a wig and then he took of a bald cap that was underneath the wig allowing the short brown hair loose.
Jamie's hands went to his shirt and pulled it off showing that there was padding underneath and later he took that off revealing a thin, tight black top which showed boobs.
Jamie or whoever he/she is peeled off fake eyebrows revealing perfect eyebrows and later the moustache came off. I had seen this girl before, Kate the girl who substituted for the English professor who isn't really an English professor but a detective.
Before I could dwell on the fact that Jamie is actually Kate Wilson; I heard Kate asking to arrest Coach Jacobs.
I saw her lips curl up with pleasure and delight, her eyes shining brighter when she resided the criminal's rights as cuffing him. It looked like she had been dying to say to words to an actual criminal than just in her head. That she had been looking forward to the day of her first arrest for ages.
"You think you'll win I got friends in high places, they'll make sure I will walk a free man." Those words put me out of my trance.
I watched the Coach give a smug look and my hate toward him came up. I was about to attack him when I heard familiar words;
'So you're the one who's been threating David and then tied us up just so he won't play?... Yes, and I didn't have to tie both of you up if he just listened to my threats and stayed away.'
I watched the smug look on the Coach face fade away and then I heard Kate saying; "Not even your friends can get you out of this one."
I watched her smile and turn around but was engulfed with people. I realised that when she showed everyone who she was she didn't even look at me once and that hurt. I turned around and went to the changing room.
I still had the game to prepare for anyway, I wouldn't be missed that's for sure. I entered the room and started changing, in a couple of seconds I was done. I would have gone out but I just didn't know how I felt or if those moments I spent with Jamie... sorry Kate where a lie.
I hear the door close and I look up hoping its Kate but instead I found Antonio.
"What are you doing in here, shouldn't you be out there getting ready for the game or being interrogated or something?" I snap
