Burned Out Flames

Chapter 1

Every night I lie awake in bed , hoping for better days.
Blaming my uneasy nights on insomnia.
But it's my unsettled thoughts keeping me restless.
Contemplating if i will ever seek tranquility within my mind.
Tossing and turning , trying to find comfort but it's just not there anymore.
His words forever burned into my memory.
With each word the flame expands uncontrollably , Leaving me scorched in the fire.
" Lie to me again ".
" I love you ", he said.
So i set my life on fire and sought those who tamed my flames.
