Hi everyone and welcome to the What If section. This is basically the Kingdom Hearts Scenarios section. So let's get started.
What if Sora turned into something else in Atlantica?
Sora looked to his two friends, Donald and Goofy. He tugged at his jacket nervously, looking into the gentle tide. "What happens to the clothes?" he asked uncertainly.
Donald sighed."The spell's gonna wear off, Sora!" he grumped.
Sora nodded and took a breath, and the three dived into the depths of the ocean.
The thought didn't come to Donald, that he might not have known how to swim. He sunk slowly, upside down, with his tentacles trailing lightly in the water, arms crossed. At least Goofy had the hang of it. He was gliding through the warm water, chuckling as he twirled around in his sea turtle body. Donald envied him, though he'd never admit it.
But where was Sora?
"Guys! Help!" came a panicky voice from behind a rock.
Goofy looked to where the voice had come from and darted in that direction. Donald wanted to help, but the best he could manage was to flail his arms wildly, hoping to gain some ground.
"GOOFY, HELP ME OUT HERE!" he shouted.
"I already have one passenger, though!" he called back. Suddenly Goofy glided out, into Donald's point of view. If Donald had eyebrows he would have raised one.
"Where's Sora?" he asked, glaring.
"Down here," a miserable voice said.
Goofy rolled so that his stomach was showing, and a small, orange starfish was clinging to him for dear life. Donald looked at it in horror.
"That's not--"
"It is."
Terrible silence followed for a few seconds. Donald and Goofy made eye contact, then lost it, laughing so hard they almost forgot Sora was there.
"Guys!" Sora objected, but they were too wrapped up in the hilarity of the situation. When they had finally calmed down, Donald had a hang of his directional issues, and was now teetering between being upright and lying backwards.
"Goofy, get my staff, he can't save the world as a starfish."
Goofy snorted as he sunk lower, scooping up a staff that was buried in some sand. He rose and handed it to Donald, who ordered him to toss Sora upwards. Goofy nodded, ignoring Sora's tiny cries of protest.
"One," he began, "two, THREE!" Goofy flung him upwards and Donald shot him with a bright blue bolt. Drifting downwards was a very lean, very mad half-Sora-half-dolphin.
"A starfish?" he demanded.
"I had no control-"
"Who are you?" asked a concerned female voice. And that's the story of the time Sora was a different kind of star.
